I first contacted Krystal about electrolysis last July after reading several good reviews. Her…read moreprices were far more reasonable than any I'd researched for removal of body hair (specifically my dark, thick chin hair -- I know, it's a strange/gross thing to confess online). Since I've been researching electrolysis for years, I had read all sorts of horror stories about scarring. I texted Krystal tons of questions, which she patiently and thoroughly answered. I was SO nervous when I arrived, and a bit embarrassed of my appearance too as I had to refrain from my usual plucking routine (removing 5-10 hairs three times a day) for approximately a week before seeing her. But Krystal was kind, efficient and thorough. She worked for an hour. I was nervous that I would scar or pit from the procedure, but I only experienced a little swelling and redness. Both were gone in a couple days. I've been going to Krystal for about 8 months now. I'm very pleased with the results. I'm even more pleased with all that I've learned from her -- including that new hair grows in four annual periods and in six weeks cycles. That explains why it takes consistent appointments to really make progress in seeing a difference. I've also learned that you shouldn't take Biotin when you're trying to get rid of facial hair (doh). I noticed the first big change after six months of appointments. Now I'm going about once a month for upkeep. One word of caution, as with any appointment, sometimes clients stack up. Since I typically make afternoon/evening appointments, I sometimes have to wait a little while. I will say -- Krystal's beautiful work improving my skin is well worth the wait. I would highly recommend Krystal's services to anyone seeking permanent hair removal as she is quick, thorough, and affordable.

Krystal is very efficient, professional and courteous. She takes time to listen to your concerns…read moreand is very quick to suggest solutions. I had been going here for electrolysis. The price for the area I am having done is a tad bit higher than other places but unless you want to drive to Dallas or Fort Worth then it's worth it. With the time and gas I save it comes out about even. I recommend her highly. She educated me a lot before I even started treatment and from my experience was pretty close to what she told me to expect. I even went to two other places for several treatments. They all 3 had the same results. Different personalities and different equipment but the same results. Pay her a visit. She is fair, honest and truly cares for her clients. She goes beyond what I expected. She helped me with a skin problem that 2 dermatologist couldn't fix. She knows her stuff. Now on a note for my never ending quest to find the most inexpensive and effective form of hair removal. I have had laser and electrolysis. Laser is much more expensive per visit but covers a much larger area per treatment. Look at about 8 to 10 treatments and never let them fool you that it is permanent. For the most part it is but laser works great for the corse dark hairs. The thin or light hairs will not be affected at all. Electrolysis is permanent but also takes more than one zap a hair too. They get finer each time and also has to be zapped during a certain stage of growth just like laser. And also I found that both can stimulate new hair growth. What this means in you risk growing hair in places that you didn't have hair before around the area that is being treated. I hope my review and knowledge helps someone. I found that laser equipment has much to do with the results but electrolysis didn't. So don't get sucked into paying for what you don't need. I recommend laser first to get most of it then electrolysis to finish it out if you want to be 100% hair free.

I've waited over a yr to post a comment because I wanted to make sure of what to say. Dr Tran is a…read morevery nice guy and was very patient with me going back and forth about having this procedure. When I finally decided to have this done, I had second thoughts at the last minute and was crying in the office. The women in the office came in and told me it will be fine in a rather rude way. I felt pressured to have it done because everything was booked and paid for. I was told that the surgery center would be covered by insurance and it wasn't. Found out the night before the procedure. At my preop appt the afternoon before surgery he did his markings. Thought that was odd because sweating and sleeping might wear off the marker. He said it would be fine and just put a paper towel under my breasts to soak up any sweat. In the morning he glanced at the markings and said they were fine even though I could tell some of it wore off. He's the doctor. He knows what he's doing. I did everything I was told to do and went in to have my bandages removed 3 days later. I noticed that the inside of my right breast was kind of flat compared to the left. Like too much tissue was taken out. He said to wait a few months for the swelling to go down and everything to settle. Ok. Every time I went in I told him my concerns and was told just wait. I started out as a DDD and we agreed to go to a D. As time went by I noticed that I was a maybe a full C on the left and a small C on the right. The flatness on the inner right breast was still there and it was lower at it's base. I'm guessing that he went by the smudged markings. He told me that my breasts were sisters, not twins and that's why they were uneven. I said the point of plastic surgery is to make them twins. I've been very disappointed in the results. I was always proud of my giant breasts but the weight and sagging killed my neck, shoulders and back. Now they make me sad. I've realized that NO plastic surgeon marks the patient ahead of time. They do it the morning of the surgery. I didn't do much research like most women and didn't consult with any other doctors so it's partly my fault. I'm now consulting with other surgeons to fix what's been done. When I show them my breasts, they see right away the major asymmetry. I was also supposed to have liposuction on the sides of my breasts which looked barely done. On a positive note I did get some money back due to my disappointment. I hope this enlightens someone to do research and check out more than one doctor. Thanks for reading.

I have complained to him several times about the permanent stitches he put around my areolas, which has led to sever pain and abscesses not to mention horrific scaring. I went with the the silicone implants submuscular. He didn't build my pockets and I have a particular muscle structure that requires the surgery to be done in a specific manner he didn't care to do that either. I paid over ten grand for breasts that look horrible not to mention I'm already having what's called the waterfall effect. I've know many people with the exact same procedure that I had and even 15 to 30 yrs after their surgery their implants still look amazing! When I finally got an appointment with him for the last a final attempt to get some kind of compensation for the horrific job he had done to me I was met with rudeness and them blaming the surgical errors on me and my and that I had aged 5yrs then he had the nerve to tell me that if I wanted it fixed that I would have to pay him even more money!! I wouldn't let him touch me again with a ten foot pole! Please whatever you do stay away from Dr. Anthony Tran all he cares about is your money and NOT YOU! I can't express this enough! I have done my research since my surgery and I shouldn't be having the issues I'm having now, if I would have just done my research before I paid ten grand just to feel like Frankenstein! If I could give no stars I would. Now I'm going to have to pay another surgeon to fix and recuntruct my breasts. Just because he has some top doctor awards on his wall doesn't mean he is truly a top doctor! For all I know he could have had those made by a printing company. I also noticed that he has taken down his before and after pictures of his breast augmentation gallery and all you see is women with their clothes on! Again if you value the way you want to look stay away from him! Quality of care was horrific the staff was rude and I had no after care instructions or postoperative check ups except for one and that was to take the bandages off. I still had open wounds that wasn't cared for and was told it was normal. Obviously that's not normal!

I love walking through these doors and I do it far too often... This Sally's location is pretty consistent with the rest; small, organized, well stocked, and well staffed. All the employees I've met here so far are extremely nice, helpful, and know exactly where everything is. When you walk in the door, they'll ask if you need assistance. If you don't, they'll leave you be. And I love that they always seem to have something fun going on with either their hair or make up... a crazy colored hair clip-in or a swirly design drawn on their cheek with glitter eyeliner. Sometimes I view hair care and make up as such a chore (which is why I'm often too lazy about it). But Sally's reminds me that it can be fun and not cost a million bucks. I've bought so many products from Sally's and have no complaints about any of them; shampoo, conditioner, eyeshadow, mascara, chapstick, earrings (I got the best, sparkling, jeweled studs here for $7), headbands, straightening irons, diffusers, etc. There are tons of fantastic products for the serious DIY hair dyers and stylists, and plenty of options for amateurs. Always check out what's right near the registers - that's where they keep the trendy trinkets and coupons, which you can totally use right then. I'll often browse through the coupons and then shop accordingly. Oh, this nude shimmer eyeshadow is 30% off?? I'll take it!! I've found 3 different hair products at Sally's (curl cream, specifically) that I really love. My hair is way dry from coloring it, and even though I have some natural wave, it's too long to curl nicely (I need a trim). So, these little creams have been super helpful to me: Beyond the Zone's Super Sexy (in a purple bottle), One 'n Only Argan Oil's Curl Cream (dark tan bottle), and Bioterra's Curl Cream (white pump bottle). Just use a small amount, and none will make your hair crunchy or sticky, hallelujah! AND, none of them are expensive at all, they were each under $8 for a good sized bottle. You won't find deals like that on great products at your salon or Ulta - no way jose! Sally Beauty Supply is consistently stellar and never lets me down. 5 stars, I say! They're doing it right.
