Plenty colorful, lots of toys to play with before or after the haircut, tvs playing cartoons, and even fun themed capes they cover the kids with during their cut. Shelly was super sweet and did a great job on my son's hair. The whole session didn't last more than 10 minutes. My son did surprisingly well - largely distracted by Mickey Mouse on the tv - and it wasn't until the end until he shed a few tears. Shelly was so friendly and patient, keeping him as comfortable as possible. Prices are reasonable, service is sweet, and the outcome looked great. I'm sure we'll be back.

I adore Lela -…read moreI've shopped there frequently in the last several years and always had a top-notch experience with service and merchandise - used and new. However, my most recent experience was not good and hopefully it was a one-off. I stopped in to browse on a Saturday. I did not recognize any of the women working there (4 ladies), which is unusual because there's usually someone I'm familiar with. Anyhow, I was in the store for probably 15-20 minutes and no one greeted me, no one asked if I needed any help (even though one staff person was right beside me a few times putting clothes back on the rack). At first I was surprised and thought that I should say something to them, like "hey how are you doing" etc. However, they never stopped talking amongst the 4 of them - so much so that if I had said anything I would have felt like I was interrupting them! It was very disappointing and unusual - they didn't even take time to say have a good day or anything when I left. There was a Desigual t-shirt that I wanted to try on and purchase but I decided I wasn't going to give them my business since I had felt unwelcome and ignored. I went home and ordered online. Like I said, hopefully this was a one-off and they were all just having an off day.

I wasn't sure who was working there, who was security or who was browsing, a man walked behind the counter and I told him what I was looking for. First he said he didn't have any, then handed me a packet that was $.99. I thought "score!" Upon further reading, I realized it was just toner that had to be used in combination with this elusive powder lightener. **July 2025: Tuesday Afternoon Visit**…read more This was such a great charity shop to visit! It was a pretty hot summer afternoon so being inside a well ventilated and ac'd store was a relief. The store itself is styled like a boutique and is a long hallway with different rooms focused on different clients (ie. children's section, men's section, active etc). I did feel like many of the women's clothes were geared towards a more mature crowd, but I appreciated the fitting room to try everything on. Unfortunatley, the things I loved were probably meant for juniors/teenagers and were just a tad too small for me *cries* Nevertheless, I found some really great (like new conditioned) random things like a Superman BBQ Apron (perfect for the summer of Superman), and Michael Kors Mary Jane Pumps that will work perfectly for my Wicked outfit that I'm putting together. I didn't know at the time, but I suspect because I visited during the week of July 4th that everything in store was 50% off, which almost felt like highway robbery since everything was already very inexpensive already! My Mary Janes were $10 and thus $4.50 and the Superman Apron came out to $2.50. This is a great clean, organized and well priced charity shop that I'd love to support again on a return visit. Enjoy!
