Excellent customer service, tranquil and relaxing environment, fast check in and the deep tissue massage was wonderful , given by Michelle V. Short story: I was I. Town for my birthday weekend. I had a spa where we were staying, but they were booked out until Monday. I called around and found a spa, A-1 Massage, that was open on Sunday , booked my spot for 11am. I Got there, the staff had no knowledge and f my appointment time and was asking for payment up front. They made me feel as if I couldn't pay, and wasn't deserving of a massage and when I told staff I was uncomfortable about getting massage there due to how I was treated they attempted to argue with me. I left there in Tears. I googled MAJESTIC MASSAGE DAY SPA , explained my situation and they do graciously SQUEEZED me in. The front desk staff and seating area was beautifully set up . It gave ambiance and relaxation. EVERYONE greeted me with a smile. The room was clean and the fragrance gave spa rejuvenation vibes. I was paired with Michelle V. She was very knowledgeable about her Craft. She stretched my body and gave me a one hour deep tissue WITH stones. What once felt like my body being a pretzel, I was now relaxed, limber and felt amazing! Thank you MAJESTIC DAY SPA and a special thank you to Michelle for understanding what needed and delivering. The stylist at their salon ruined my hair in January 2023. It's taken me this long to talk about…read moreit. I was blonde and went in for a balayage. The stylist offered to put purple underneath she referred to as "peek a boo purple." I agreed thinking it would be fun. Apparently she had absolutely no idea how to properly wash the hair to not mix the purple with the blonde. After the wash, the purple was all over my blonde and extremely splotchy. She consulted with other stylists on what to do. She then used a color stripper on my hair (after bleaching) and bleached a second time. She burnt my hair and scalp. My husband, a medical professional, had to treat my scalp for a chemical burn. She damaged my hair beyond repair. My hair was breaking when I was just lying in bed. The owner did not offer any compensation. I did not realize at the time that I could have made a claim in small claims court. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a salon. I called a different salon to ask for help. I did not trust the stylist or Julie after that. The other salon told me the stylist from The Forest Salon should have NEVER bleached twice and used a color stripper in one day. It's sad that more experienced stylists did not offer better advice. Unfortunately, I am still repairing and trying to grow my hair two years later. I had to go back brown and will not be able to be blonde for a very long time now. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. If their stylists don't understand chemicals, they don't need to be using them.

I have to say, it was one of the best massages I have received in a long time and I have been getting regular massages for over 30 years. I can't recommend her enough! She has wonderful energy, amazing hands and a firm touch, along with clear knowledge of the body to help anyone manage chronic body issues.
