They messed up my hair…read more I brought quite some pictures with me of what i wanted. Told the hairdresser to not put in layers. They cut it shorter than I asked for. Before they started cutting told me the pictures were possible. So i was not aware of how bad it was going. My family's first reaction was: "your hair got bitten off. It does not look cut by someone that actually knows what he is doing" It looks nothing like the pictures. They ignored my wishes. And then charged me the full price after I said it was done pretty bad. It costs a lot of money. For a very bad result. No 20 year old wants to walk around like this. Furthermore. My review on google got deleted. Very shallow. They were very nice tho. And i went here once before and had no such problem!

I went to De Wakko Kapper in Brussels and they gave me the worst haircut of my life. We agreed that…read morethe hairdresser could cut 2-3 centimeters but she cut more than 10 centimeters in some places and made it assymmetrical. It seemed like she wasn't paying attention or simply didn't care. I got the haircut in March but it still bothers me every single day - I used to love my hair but now it's just a problem to me. I went to my old hairdresser in Copenhagen and had it corrected a bit, he was very sorry to see the haircut and said it would take me more than a year to grow it out. I would strongly advice anyone against going to De Wakko Kapper in Brussels. It's the worst haircut I ever got.

After a few months of debating, I finally decided I'm tired of doing my own nails. I really have…read morethe worst nails. They break easily, and if I paint them, after a day they're already chipping. So what to do? You have many options for your nails - acrylic and gel nails, gel polish, and regular polish. Gel polish is my ideal choice. My natural nails are undamaged, and the result is a beautiful, thin layer of polish that lasts two weeks (and my nails actually grow instead of breaking!). I wanted to wait until my second visit to write my review and I'm super happy with how my nails look! Because the gel polish dries under a mixture of UV and LED lights, daily maintenance is needed to keep your hands hydrated. So definitely use a cuticle cream or oil once a day and plenty of hand cream! €35 is not cheap, but the process is only 30 minutes and you don't have to worry about your nails for another two weeks! For me it's worth it and I've already booked two more future appointments with Gabriella!

Biggest organic shop ever... I mean that I know in Belgium :) You will find everything you need…read morethere from foods to cleaning products and cosmetics. I find the cheese counter with free tasting quite impressive! There are also a lot of vegan cheese and meat substitutes at the fresh department (I am myself not a big fan of those substitutes considering the fact that they often contain a large amount of of unhealthy fats and are mainly soya-based). You can also purchase by weight nuts, dry fruits and other healthy snacks. Their chocolate department is also quite amazing! The fresh fruits and vegetables counter is a bit deceptive though, despite the choice, doesn't look very good from my point of view. You won't get a lot of help and advice in this store except in the cosmetics department on the first floor and of course at the cheese and deli counters. The prices are quite fair even money-worth for some products, mainly belgian and dutch one, but much less for other, let's say french one for example. Overall, a great organic shop with quite everything you're looking for.

This place is pretty okay for nonperishable "superfoods" - you literally can't walk three feet anywhere in the store without finding six different brands of quinoa. Definitely worth a stop if you're nearby and don't feel like ordering your organic shampoo or chia seeds online.
