I thought the therapist had really good technique but the overwhelmingly loud music (something called tribal beat) made really relaxing very difficult, and that was without my hearing aids. People were all professional, friendly and very nice. I guess my issue was mostly a cost/value issue. I thought the prices were really high. Both of our treatments were holiday gifts. The consult with his colleague was not good. I found that the facility was not clean and the showed me pictures of people who had undergone the surgery and they looked horrible. I was not impressed with his presentation and decided to go elsewhere. When I went back to Dr. Fuller, he was obviously upset that I did not choose his colleague and sent me a letter saying that I was no longer his patient. No problem because I didn't be after his attitude and insistence upon using one certain .

In the past, I have just walked in and hoped there was an appointment slot open. I usually had to wait 10-15 minutes which is no big deal because you can browse around until they are ready for you. If you aren't wanting to wait, it's best to call ahead and get your name in. Today Mercedes took care of me. She was friendly and started out by asking some questions about my skin. She then proceeded to wax my eyebrows (which were totally out-of-control). The wax was a perfect temperature and it was one of the more painless waxes I have had. At the end of it, she asked if I wanted her to cover the redness with concealer and fill in brows. It looked really natural when she was done. There's nothing worse than feeling like one of those brows-on-fleek Instagram girls who have overdrawn, overstated eyebrows. Payment was easy. You take your ticket to the counter. They will ask you if you would like to add a non-cash tip and you are on your way. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Maintenance staff come by every so often to check the temperature of the baths. There are thermostats in the baths to show how hot it is, or you can just dip your hand or toes in to check. Swim suit is mandatory. One of the baths has disability seating. It's a chair that can be lowered into the bath with a seat belt. I've never seen that before, but it's a nice feature. The baths are outdoors, so it's very sunny. If you forgot to bring your sunscreen, the gift shop sells it. It's $55 for a day pass per person, I feel is a bit pricy considering we are staying at the deluxe cabin. But if you choose to use their spa services, I think there is a discount to use the baths or it's included in the spa services price of $90 or up. The baths are clean, the lockers are nice. There are showers, restrooms, and a sauna inside in the spa building. They give you one clean towel and locker keys if needed. There is calm spa music playing all the time in the shower/sauna/bath area. There is also a bar there, but you'll have to go out of your way to get a drink, because they don't want you drinking in the pools I guess... Had a great time at the pools. Very family friendly. Remember to bring your own sunscreen and flip flops!
