This establishment has just got new owners. The majority of the products are switching over to Spanish totally instead of being bilingual. I spoke with the owner and asked him why? Because the area is not predominantly Latino and we don't understand what the packaging says. He stated that he had to speak with the manager who orders the products. We'll see. However, I did advise him that he is not the only beauty supply store in the area and if those of us that come into that establishment can't read what's on the package, they'll force us to seek out other establishments. Now, don't get me wrong. I believe we all can get a piece of the American pie but be inclusive, and let's be fair because all of our packaging is bilingual. He tried to tell me that it comes in that way, and they didn't order it that way. But that's not true, because I've been going to beautopia supply store since they opened about 5 or 6 years ago. So excited to have a fully equipped beauty store in this area! It is welcome and I hope they do well here. They have everything we've been wishing the sally nearby would carry, for years. A wide array of wigs, hair extensions and hair care accessories. Along with items that you find in a beauty store in a more populated area. They just opened May 2022. When I went it the employees were still in the process of stocking up the remaining shelves but everyone stopped and asked me if I needed help with anything. The man working at the register (I believe is the owner) was very nice. I picked up a few things while I was here including a hair net for wrapping my hair at night. It had great stretch and wasn't too small (hate that!) Would definitely recommend. read more

First step into the store and you'll be amazed on how big the store is. They have tons and a variety of hair products. Wigs, clips, hair extensions, hair products (shampoo, conditioner, straightener, oils...etc.), tools (hair dryers, hot irons, crimpers), hair embellishments (bows, clips) to list a few. They also have other beauty products, such as nail polish, lip gloss, mascaras, eyeliners and the list goes on and on. I mean, they have EVERYTHING that deals with hair(a huge selection of Carols Daughter products) and some European/Canadian brands that a lot of other stores don't carry. Also, immediately from the left of the entrance of the store, there is a good size-able section, where they also sell jewelry like earrings, necklaces and brooches. You can practically get all your beauty supplies here without having to search from different stores and with unbeatable prices. I did a comparison of their prices with Amazon, and this store definitely offers lower prices. The owner is super nice and friendly! We were able to chat with him a bit and you can tell he is very knowledgeable of the products he sell. He has been in the industry for many years before opening his own store. Any questions regarding hair products, he almost has the answer for you. It is also a plus that he is patient and helpful. It also applies to his super helpful staff as well. October 5 2022 - I visited Beautopia in Lindenhurst, NY and was amazed how big the store was, and it's packed with thousands of new items in an immaculately kept store. Many items I'd been buying online due our local grocery stores closing down are right here in this store. For example, I can now buy Dr. Bronner' s Lavender Castile soap down the road.
