Tried to go to the pool got yelled at by one of the office employees. Place is way too expensive for it to not have everything working, utilities are very high by the end of the month. I didn't even know this place was meant to be luxury till I searched it up and that's a total lie not ounce of luxury here. Take my advice and don't come.

I wish I could give Fairlane Meadow Apartments zero stars because that's exactly what they deserve…read more My experience with them was a complete nightmare from start to finish, and they scammed me out of $80! First, they charged me an $80 application fee, which they refused to refund after rejecting my application for absurd reasons. On top of that, they slapped on an additional $180 "administration" fee, bringing the total to $260! Not only did they waste my time, but they took my money and gave nothing in return. They didn't provide any valid reason for rejecting my application, just threw in arbitrary excuses and made me jump through unnecessary hoops that were never mentioned upfront. They hid behind unclear requirements and used them to disqualify me while pocketing my hard-earned money. Camille Broadus, the leasing consultant, was extremely unprofessional throughout the process. After I uploaded all the required documents during my application, she kept coming back asking for more documents that were never mentioned at the beginning. She flat-out refused to accept the payment ledger I provided from my resident portal, insisting on a certified version from the leasing office of my current residence--something that wasn't even stated in their initial requirements! But the most shocking part? Camille actually asked me to forward my private email chain with my employer for "employment verification." Are you kidding me? How invasive and inappropriate! Any professional leasing office would contact the employer directly for verification, but instead, she demanded confidential emails between me and my workplace. This is a massive violation of privacy, and no professional establishment should be asking for something like this. It really made me question the ethical standards of Fairlane Meadow Apartments. To make matters worse, despite the outrageous amount of money they charged me for the application, they didn't even bother to contact my current leasing office for verification. Instead, they made me go through the trouble of having my payment records certified and sent back to them. What's the point of charging these insane fees if they're not going to do the legwork themselves? It feels like they're just grabbing money from applicants and then looking for any excuse to reject them so they can keep the fees. The whole experience was shady from start to finish. Fairlane Meadow Apartments and Camille Broadus seem to deliberately make the process difficult and complicated to discourage applicants, while happily keeping your money. If this is how they treat potential tenants, I can't even imagine how poorly they treat actual residents once you're trapped in a lease. The complete lack of trust, professionalism, and transparency makes it clear that they have no interest in treating people fairly. It honestly feels like a scam designed to take advantage of people. Save yourself the trouble and stay far away from Fairlane Meadow Apartments. They'll take your money, waste your time, and turn the application process into a complete nightmare. You deserve better than dealing with this level of incompetence, untrustworthy behavior, and outright disrespect!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Let me start by saying, if you are interested in staying…read morehere,, DO NOT!!! RUN!! First of all, the pictures that you all see online that is advertising how the units look, is FALSE! I've been submitting work order request since October. I have a roof leak in one bedroom. I had a severe water leak in another bedroom window. Their solution to fixing it was to seal and nail the window shut instead of actually getting someone out here to repair it. I have bubbles forming in the ceiling inside of the bathroom. I have a leak behind the wall where the tub is. I have a leak in the basement. I have basement windows that are deteriorating. I have molded warped cabinets inside the kitchen that maintenance thought spray painting them black will help me not to complain about actually seeing the mold. Pretty much everything inside my unit is taped up and put together just so they don't have to contact someone to make repairs. I know you're probably wondering "did I report all this". Yes, I've sent countless emails and I even spoke to the regional office. You want to know what their response was? "Nothing is warranted to allow you out of your lease early and we'll give you a one-time credit of $250 off your rent". Mind you I'm paying $1,825 faithfully on time even with the issues. It's February 5th and my lease is up March 17th and they won't even allow me to leave on the 1st of the month without being penalized. Now that I escalated the issues to the regional manager hoping for some sort of help. She hits me with the "it's not warranted to break your lease 17 days early". Now they want to come inside my unit to make repairs for the next person coming in after me and still make me pay. How tf is that fair. Please see the pictures and email responses. Side note: Spoke to my neighbor for the first time today and she told me how her friend occupied my unit before me and she had the same issues. So that further lets me know this is just a "bandaid" property. That's all they do is put "bandaids" on issues without actually having to fix them. DO NOT MOVE HERE! It's a FREAKING SCAM.

The kitchen is very small but if you're picky about having a big kitchen, buy a house lol. Bathroom is pretty spacious. They are really pet friendly too which is a huge plus for us as we have a dog and a cat. They do charge pet rent but so does everywhere else. The dog park even has some wooden agility equipment such as ramps, jumps, and a platform, and little trash cans and bag dispensers all over the property for picking up after your dog also.

After my unit was flooded due to another tenant's negligence, I expected at least a prompt and professional response. Instead, I was told by emergency maintenance to just "leave for the day" and it would be taken care of--only to come home to a leaking ceiling, soaked carpet, and no real progress. Maintenance didn't arrive until the next day, and all they did was remove the light and smoke alarm--leaving me without a fire alarm in my room for days. As of writing this, water damage in the walls hasn't been addressed, my carpet still reeks of mildew, and the lack of urgency is unacceptable. Mold grows fast, and I'm still living in unsafe conditions. Even after explaining all of this to management, they offered no rent discount, no apology beyond empty words, and essentially told me they were "acting within the lease agreement." DO NOT LIVE HERE!…read more This is not a luxury apartment, no matter how much they want to justify it. tl;dr: Management evil. Rent is unjustifiably high. For those of you who want the tea, read below: Maintenance takes forever to complete anything. I have been here for almost 8 months and have still yet to get many things fixed. Seemingly everything I have maintenance requests for, are things that have either been broken since move in or have broken repeatedly. I often drive around the complex and notice the maintenance guys doing nothing but sitting in their golf carts talking on the phone. They seem entirely lazy, judgemental, and unwilling to provide quality work. The AC straight up doesn't work here. It's not just my apartment, ALL of them don't work. They may blow cold air, but you will never have a living room below 74 degrees in the summer. To top it all off, because the AC will run 24/7, it will rack up a $400 a month electricity bill with DTE in the summer. We had to buy a portable AC unit ($300) to keep our bedroom cool. Highly recommend one if you decided to live here. Shockingly the main AC can't keep the downstairs cool, even with a second AC helping out! We ended up talking to some random lady at the office about this. I say random because, since January, management has changed 3 times. If you look at the past comments, and they go back quite far, you'll see even with management changes, the problems persist. Village Green is wholely incompetent. Anyway, the random director lady tried to tell us excuses like heat rises and the bricks on the outside prevent the apartment from cooling. As if everyone with a house has a hot house because of their bricks. If heat rises, why aren't skyscrapers just massive ovens constantly cooking people? Your garage will not want to open half the time and force you to press the button 100 times before it opens. Not to mention the garage is so narrow, you will constantly be banging your car door on the wall of the garage. Also, if you have a 2 bedroom unit, and you drive a pickup, your pickup will NOT fit in the garage. Just an FYI they WON'T tell you. The square footage they tell you of the apartment includes the garage square footage in that number. They say 1 bedroom apartments are like 1,000 square feet. Inside is more like 666 square feet because they made a deal with evil itself to punish those who live here. Luckily I don't have a balcony, because the balcony also cuts into your inside space. I have what the office politely calls a suicide balcony. Just another reminder they want me to suffer. The front gate code is static and is known by everyone, not to mention you can just ever so slightly tap the gate with your car bumper and it'll open right up for you. It has some kind of sensor that goes off and trips my radar detector every time I get too close to the gate. 10% of the mailboxes have no door on them. That alone should tell you it isn't a luxury apartment. I am living in one of the only "renovated" apartments they have. It has granite countertops and is the picture they probably keep flashing you to try to rent here. All the other apartments are far more outdated. Not to mention, the only "renovation" they did, was added granite countertops and maybe added stainless steel appliances. Everything else is the same as the other units. Also a dirty little secret they won't tell you, on top of the outrageous rent and electricity bill, Dearborn has the second-highest auto insurance rate in the state. Just get out of this town. There's a reason the hotel next to this place is closed down (albeit for totally different reasons that aren't at this place). I hope this place is next. I paid 2x my monthly rent to move out of this place early and I could not be any happier. Even if the next place is just as bad, at least my rent is 50% off.
