This was late February or early March and fortunately the store was open. We were greeted by a person who I suspect was the owner. We explained the situation and we were totally impressed by the great treatment we received. The replacement turned out to be less expensive than the item returned and I was refunded the difference.I didn't have a receipt and no idea what the shirt cost. I thought I have to review this interaction and kept forgetting to do so. While out to diner I saw a lady wearing a Sand Jamm shirt this evening which motivated me to finally do the review. I appreciate having room to breathe while I browse, which doesn't always happen in retail environments. Here, I was able to look through all the totes, bracelets, and cover-up dresses before deciding on some for summer use and gifts. I especially loved the bright-hued bracelets! Everything is super affordable. I purchased five items for $35. The owner gave me a slight discount on my items as I complimented her store too, in addition to sharing birthday wishes and good luck for the year. She could not have been sweeter at all! This is the smallest Burlington I have ever been in…read more It is organized, sometimes a little over filled racks, but well managed. I have gone in not really with a set thing in mind but just to look and have come out with something that either smelt great, looked delicious or found something super functional for my space. Some items are a bit pricy for the genre of store but I just move on down the rack. Customer service is pretty good too. Have not run into an unhelpful employee yet.

I can distinctly remember the experience of trying to purchase an iron-on t-shirt on the Wildwood…read moreboardwalk in the 80s and 90s: dance music blasting out of every store, "that guy" standing outside, hooting and hollering at all the girls and boys walking by, trying to lure them into the store to buy something. And then the negotiating would begin. It was next to impossible to get these places to tell you what the final cost of your t-shirt would be until after they pressed it. That $5 t-shirt advertised on the wall would suddenly skyrocket to the $20, maybe more, depending on what decal you selected, and then another few bucks to wax over the print so it would hold up in the wash. Of course, none of these costs would be disclosed to you until it was too late, and oftentimes they'd try to rope you into buying a second t-shirt for a discounted price before giving you the tally for the one you actually wanted. It was an experience that left you feeling dirty and far poorer than when you first walked in. So when my kids asked me if I would buy them t-shirts last week as we walked the boards, I was quite leery. Even worse was the idea of trying to buy them in a store called Deja Vu. But this store looked as good as any. No loud, obnoxious club music blaring away, and "that guy" was nowhere in sight. A friendly Russian girl was the only person working in the store, who greeted me without immediately launching into the hard sale. Apparently, the shady practices of the past have given way to far more straightforward pricing: all blank t-shirts are priced as marked and any decal is free with each purchase. $5 more if you want the wax protection. In the end, I escaped unscathed. Two $9.99 t-shirts, each with a decal of my kids' choice, plus the $10 to protect them both. That latter part may very well still be a scam for all I know, but at $15 a shirt, I felt like I got a good deal. Would have cost a lot more 20 years ago, believe it or not. #progress

Another stop during my rainy stay at the beach…read more This has all the stuff Ross normally has, but certain items stood out in greater number (like similar stores nearby) as stock geared toward rental home needs, vacationer needs, and seashore needs. For example, they had a bunch of small coolers (for bait or small catches), or for taking something to the beach. Useful, for sure. I didn't need it for those puposes, but I still bought two smaller sizes so I could keep frozen groceries in it when I trek out to do a million errands, and need to keep stuff cold while I make the rounds. It was a great deal, and will definitely work at the beach for me as a secondary use. This Ross was much better kept than the one I last visited in Key West a year ago (there aren't many near my home). It was well lit, clean, interior felt newish, merch was attractively presented, well stocked, and easy to navigate. In addition to the coolers, I had to get a Lacoste alligator towel! Straight out of The Preppy Handbook (yes, that's a real book). It was so 80s and too funny, I had to get one in blue. It's going to be my son's beach towel! I was surprised Ross had a deal with Lacoste because this was not a knockoff, the label legit says Lacoste. They also had weed socks and all kinds of crazy stuff in the Young Mens' section. This is the first time I've seen such stuff in such a large box chain store. I mean, Spencer Gifts, sure, but Ross? Staff was friendly, but while multiple associates were on the floor, only one register was open, which created a line, and was unnecessary. So they lose a star there. I had fun looking around but wish I had more time. I left happy with my deals, and wishing they had a store closer to me!

I did pick up a few other things as They have a large selection of items They must have a large theft number there as the fitting room attendant wanted to see how big my backpack purse was. She wanted me to hang all the clothes before she counted and gave me a number. I'll be back as they have a large selection
