Volunteers for The Mission of Mercy Project provided free dental and dental hygiene treatment to the low-income and uninsured adults in our community. Health professionals from all over VA came to lend a helping hand. This particular NOVA location is the Medical Education Campus. Visitor parking is available on the 4th and 5th floors. You need a parking pass for floors 1-3. Restrooms are located on every corner. Score. They are not dirty but aren't all that clean either. I spotted a bookstore and cafe. Peaking inside, things looked neat and organized. The campus is clean for the most part. The dental clinic on the 1st floor is nice. During some stages of treatment, the hand pieces started messing up. Fortunately, we had a wonderful volunteer who knew the ins and outs of dental equipment and fixed it in a jippy. The clinic is quite spacious and well stocked with dental supplies. It warms my heart to see so much love and generosity given to those who need it the most in our community.
