Total unprofessional. After making an appointment with the team and letting them know my needs, I…read morewas told to send some documents over and also my QuickBooks information. After a couple of days without knowing if my information was received because I didn't get back a receipt that email was read I stopped in the office to verify that everything was received plus my Quickbooks admin invite. After leaving a day later I get this from Ken Jorge, this is a very busy office and we line our work out accordingly. We check our emails the following day. It would be unfair to the clients that we're currently working on to depart our attention to emails when we should be working on their work. I'm going to review the information I have and make sure I give you a price and you're okay with it before we accept the invite and then we can talk about time frames to make sure you're okay with the time frames that we would have to operate under. Ken After several emails going back in forth and not knowing if my information was looked over nor price for his services I get this email. No one cares about small business more than we do. We have created hundreds of testimonials. You will never find the resume/fee we offer. I have looked at your financials. You do need help on many different levels. I was merely responding on my holiday that we receive clients confidential information on a daily basis and I protect that information at Great expense. However, we do not have the time to respond to each email when received which is what I was trying to communicate to you. Based on your response, I will be frank and let you know that I don't think we would be a good fit for each other. I you would like to speak to me personally, please call me Tuesday after 11am. Ken All I wanted to know if my sensitive information was received and hire a local business to take care of my needs. I think he does care about his clients who pay lots of money and not small business as he stated. If you are a small business do not waste your time and look for someone else. I have never made a review personally or as a business owner. He fired the client before becoming a client. I am shocked and left speechless.

I'd been a loyal customer for the past ten years, paid the same fee each year, and since they've made their changes with the people working there now, I've been overcharged and I just got a bill from 4 months ago. Several months ago, I reached out to ask how my taxes would be affected if I took an IRA pay out, there had been no mention of charging me a fee. I've never been charged in the past 10 yrs for reaching out to them regarding my taxes and any questions that I'd had. Now, 4 months pass and I get a random bill with no explanation that they expect me to pay. Firstly, that's a really bad, awful business practice , thinking you can send out a bill 4 months later without ever disclosing that a fee would be charged in the first place. This tax place used to be legit, but they are obviously desperate for money now and willing to rip off good, loyal customers in order to skim and scam as much money as possible. Do not use this company, they cannot be trusted and are not upfront and honest people. If you are rich and don't care about money, then go for it, but some of us, honest, and hardworking people do not deserve to be treated this way. A good, trustworthy business would let you know of any charges or fees upfront, not send you a bill months later, but this place tries to be sneaky and think it's alright to send out random bills after 4 months of answering my tax question. You are asking for trouble if you bring your business to this tax prep place, you will be overcharged and you could do much better just about anywhere else in the area.

We received our 2024 Tax Filing services from Alicia King and her Taxperts team, purely by default,…read morewhen our long-time accountant sold his business, and client roster to Taxperts, only a few months prior to the tax season. We decided to move forward with Taxperts even though we reside in PA, because our original accountant assured us that Taxperts would take good care of us. Unfortunately, the long-distance relationship left us with zero communication from Alicia King and her team, and little to no communication through a clunky portal we were asked utilize, leaving us feeling like the ugly step-child, Taxperst just wanted to get rid of. Taxperts filed our taxes with no notification of the filing, no call of review of the filing prior to, and no notice that we in fact owed PA state tax, which required a physical form, and payment to be made via snail-mail. When the federal filing submission was rejected due to the lack of a pin, we provided them with the pin, and subsequently, received a rude email, from Alicia herself, telling us that the pin had been requested (when it was not to my knowledge), we failed to provide it, and that Taxperts should not have had to request it from us (?). The email also included a statement from Alicia King telling my husband that he was "nothing short of rude" and that "Maybe taking some time to reflect on your behavior would do you some good." Is that how you treat a customer, one which you inherited, especially after no interaction, communication, or personal introduction had ever been offered? Next time maybe a simple phone call, and a personal interaction could be made, especially after being handed clients to improve your business portfolio. Needless to say, we have not returned to Taxperts this year, and wish Alicia King success in her future. We hope that she is able to improve her client relation and communication skills, in order to provide her existing clients with better service. We also recognize that our business is better suited with an accountant who's fundamental morals, and beliefs are aligned with ours.
