i wanted to refinish a small landing in my house so i rented an edging sander from A&R. I bought…read moreabout 15 pieces of sandpaper with the promise that they would buy back any unused pieces. I started using the machine and discovered there was a hole in the dust bag that had been taped closed. The tape was coming off and sawdust started shooting all over. that's problem 1. Problem 2: pieces of sandpaper started tearing while i was using them. I wasted about 4 pieces. When i returned the machine I mentioned these two issues. One of the people there said it was my fault the paper tore. (not sure of his reasoning) However, another of the staff looked at the paper and said quite definitively that the paper ripped because the height of the wheels was set improperly and too much of the paper was rubbing on the floor. I had also brought back one completely unused piece of sandpaper. I asked for some kind of credit for the torn pieces and the fact that the machine was not working as intended, and i had sawdust everywhere. the person in charge was completely unwilling to do anything. He said the manage would be in "next week" and call me. He didn't even give me the dollar back for the one unused piece. I'm still waiting for the call. NOT A CHANCE I WILL EVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN. I came across Heavy Load Hauling on Facebook, and after exchanging a few texts and calls with Ryan, decided to book. Ryan and his crew were absolutely amazing. They arrived on time, were extremely friendly, and were lightning fast. After they filled up an entire truck, they left briefly to drop it off at a local incinerator, and they returned within 10-15 minutes to fill up another half truck. The whole process was an hour and a half, and I had a LOT of junk being hauled from multiple rooms, up/down stairs, and in my backyard. I don't know how these guys manage to do it, and safely on top of that, but they are amazing, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about their service. They were easily the smoothest part of my move. Their prices are super reasonable, especially given the size of my haul. I would 100% recommend them to anyone in the local area to book these guys!

Less than 24 hrs from install I contacted Carroll Water to say my bathroom sink and fridge were only dribbling water post installation. They sent technician, WW out within 3 hours. I was elated that this would be resolved same day since it was a Friday. I was very disappointed with the service received from their WW. WW was not friendly like the installers from the day before. He had few words to say other than, "Guess I'll have to fix that too" when he discovered a drip below the newly installed fridge line to my new RO system!! This statement really bothered me because an hour later when he left he had NOT fixed either of the two water problems I had! He said he needed a special tool to fix the sink. It was 2pm on a Friday. Guess CW's shop, Home Depot or Lowes all close early on Fridays because WW told us he'd report this to his boss and let us know Monday their resolution plan. UNACCEPTABLE! So now I essentially have no water in my daughter's bathroom sink and no water, nor ice from my fridge for the entire weekend.
