    Cured pork
    Jezrael D.

Today after coming back from Smoky Mountains we decided to stop here for some good old window shopping n fail at it to lol. We were nicely invited in as long as we kept our mask on n had to wear plastic gloves while inside. No biggie for me, im a guest in their establishment n they set the rules. Store has alot of nice tribal made sundries, leather work arts n animal skins. Pipes, candies, tabaco, tea, arrows n bows, wooden sculptures, mask n many beautiful craftsmanships. I found a liking to their dried meats n fried skins. Got a cured pork back to cook later. Some elk jerky, nice and tasty. Pecan brittle, crunchy n well balanced. It's not to sweet just how i like it. Pork cracklings, so delicious kinda reminds me of the ones we make back home in Puerto Rico. Wanted to try the ceremonial tabaco out, had to buy a clay pipe to try it. As is, it smells wonderful, hues of fruits n brandy like notes. Tasted like spiced tabaco, hitting more earthy tones when smoked. Would definitely recommend this business to everyone. They also got boiled peanuts! N sell fire wood real cheap at $4 a bundle

    Fox faces.

The folks working here (or owners) were friendly and mentioned that everything in the store were made locally. The jerky sticks and apple cider are something you have to buy! It gave the significant other and I a mini burst of energy as we explored the mountain scenery. Do not open the wooden boxes that says "jerky" or something of the sort bc you'll get a little surprise jump. ;) Aside from the soaps, lotions, canned foods, pottery, craft jewelry, wooden objects, there were animal tails and faces. Yes, I said faces (checkout my pic). It's a rather cool place for browsing (variety and quantity). This place overall seems like a legit Native American store.

Great place to shop for some interesting local gifts. The local honey and jams are great. The owners are really friendly and fun to talk to. It's a lot larger inside than it appears from the outside. If you are driving nearby, take a few minutes and stop in; you won't regret it!

This is a cool place. I always look for authenticity when visiting a place with lots of history. This place has it. Light native music greets you , and while small this store has a variety of things to buy that will remind you of your visit. Unlike many places the goods you buy here are quality . I bought some honey from here and it was wonderful. I met one employee who was Cherokee and that too was very cool. Enjoy your visit here! Use the outhouse!

Love stopping here when traveling to Cherokee. Always have such great finds. Homemade face creams and the best pecan bars.
