Brought my two gold necklaces here, one to get repaired and the other to trade in for a new one. Lady helped me respectfully and we went through the catalog and I found two of them that I would like. She wrote the size and which one I wanted down right in front of my eyes. A week late she told me both of them came in and my personal chain was fixed. I drive all the way there (30+miles) only to find out that only one chain had arrived and it was so far off of what I requested that I personally laughed in front of her face. I thought it was a joke at first because I KNEW and SAW she had written it down! Turns out that she wrote down the completely wrong chain description rather than the one I picked out. On the bright side they fixed my chain...but it broke again not even a week later. She apologized and said she will get the right ones and will call me as soon as they arrive..again. I acted like I wasn't furious and said okay. NEVER heard back from them so I took my business elsewhere. If you're going to do your job DO IT RIGHT. I don't understand if the resources are there USE THEM. Wont go back. Also I hear (based on these reviews) that other customers were not greeted when arrived. Customer service is a joke as I had to introduce myself and walk right up to the counter myself. Idk anyone personally in that branch but they sure have a staring problem. read more

They're so-so. They had a bogo offer on wedding bands, so we went in to check out the selection. The online selection was different from in store. And when our sales woman, Grace, showed us the men's rings, quite a few wasn't included in the offer. She was helpful with me trying on some of the women's bands, but she said that they don't offer any expedited shipping on those items, which we said we would need the rings pretty quickly and would have paid extra to expedite. I asked her to write down the style numbers so I could think on whether we wanted to risk it and try ordering anyway. She wouldn't write it down, saying the style numbers wouldn't matter and to just text her personal number if we needed any help. Lo and behold I did text her less than a day later during business hours, interested in one of the rings, and never heard back. Don't offer for us to reach out if you aren't going to assist anyway. And I'm still not sure why she wouldn't write down the styles in the first place, so if I talked to someone else, I'd know which ring it is. I got stuck at square one again, as I had no specs on the ring. We went elsewhere to get our rings. read more

My husband purchased my engagement ring from here and it was absolutely beautiful. I brought it back to get it sized and it took about a good 3 minutes before my presence was even acknowledged. Paul was assigned to me by the owner, yet, Paul never cracked a smile. No how are you, No welcome back, barely even looked at me. Literally zero customer service. Except when it came to several of the men near me. He would smile, shake their hands and treat them just as a customer should be treated. Thats fine, I just needed my ring sized, so I told him and then left. When I came to pick my ring up, the vintage markings I originally had at the bottom on my ring were disproportionate. Paul, again, no smile, no how are you, just rude, asked what I needed. I explained to him the problem but he kept saying he had no idea what I was talking about and the markings looked fine, barely even looking at my ring and again focusing on everything else around me. Honestly, Paul is probably one of the rudest and most condescending salesman I've ever encountered. I told him I need to speak to the owner if he clearly couldn't tell what I was talking about. Interesting how the owner saw exactly how the markings were disproportionate, and he said he would get it fixed for me. After that, the vintage markings were perfectly proportionate on my ring. But now my ring wasnt like a perfect circle anymore. Its so hard to describe but its almost like it has a wave in the band. After my headache with trying to fix the simple vintage markings, I decided to take my ring to another store to fix. With my husband and his family personally knowing the owners, and with the fact that Beard's has been around more than 30 years. They have the best selection of engagement rings and wedding bands, from well known brands such as Verragio and Tacori. We went to other stores before Beards but they didn't have a lot of rings in store to view, Beards has a very wide selection so were able to see a lot of the rings in person... and trust me I ended choosing a different ring than what I had decided on when I was looking online. I went in once and spoke with the owners son and he was friendly and informative. The second time I went in I went there with full intentions to purchase a diamond. I dealt with the owner. He seemed to care less about me as a customer, I said I didn't like a black speck in the diamond and he told me "that happens" then he went to run my credit to see if I could be approved for financing. He walked away from me and started talking to other customers giving me no updates or anything, he didn't even look at me. I stood around for 10 minutes like an idiot. My bank already called me and told me I was approved but I knew I wasn't going to spend thousands of dollars with someone who was telling me I was wrong about things and completely ignored me. I honestly couldn't believe how crappy he treated me. I went down the road and got a better deal and was treated like someone who was spending thousands. Glad you came back, NOTHING! I was in the Towne Center store 4 times. The first time they had a ring I liked but when I came back to buy it it was not there. Mark had to do "research" ( never called me back to say he had it in the store ). I came back a third time to make the purchase. Today Paul was working. It seems the workers just stare at you when you walk in and don't do a good job making you feel special. They wanted to run my drivers license so they could store the info (why would they need that?). I paid with a credit card and was given a receipt but I didn't even get a ring box until I asked!
