I was looking at buying a new Corvette and Lyle was able to take me through the whole experience from the pre-test drive briefing on the vehicle, test drive, post-test drive debriefing and Q&A, and purchase. He knew the vehicle inside and out - including all of the electronics and OnStar setup. He was able to answer all my questions. Absolutely ZERO pressure! I could feel that he loves his job - he even personally touched up the new vehicle and removed the plates and various window stickers from the old one - his genuine enthusiasm was refreshing. 3 hours and 30 minutes to do an oil change, air filter, and tire patch. Normally this wouldn't be an issue since they were noticeably busy, but they checked in a walk in drop off before my vehicle was checked (I scheduled this appointment 2 weeks in advance and sat in the waiting room the entire service) Additionally after 2 years, they've implemented new polices that weren't on my last oil changes. New 3% charge on credit cards and removal of a military discount. There is just no incentive for me to continue servicing my vehicle at this dealership. read more

I made the mistake of purchasing a new vehicle from Beardmore Chevrolet. One of the most basic functions of a dealership is to provide the vehicle Title within the 30 day temporary tag time period. Beardmore was unable to complete that very simple task. As the temp tag expiration approached I sent many, many emails and left multiple voicemails to no avail. In fact, my new vehicle ended up having expired tags for a week due to their incompetence. Beardmore Chevrolet should be aware that it is illegal to operate a vehicle with expired tags. Either they aren't aware of this fact or they just don't care. Their suggestion that I just keep driving the vehicle after the temp tags expired was ridiculous. In fact, the vehicle could have been impounded and the driver cited with a misdemeanor. Not their problem, which I guess explains their lack of concern. I see that Beardmore Chevrolet's stock response to negative Yelp reviews is to ask that they be called. No. I'm through calling them. I attempted that previously and they failed to address the issue. I'm providing this review as a warning to others: if you buy a vehicle from Beardmore Chevrolet then you had better be prepared to park it until they get around to providing the required paperwork. Bought my truck here. A 2017 Chevy Silverado LT Z71. We bought it to haul a travel trailer. Tom Cubbage was my sales man. He was and still us helpful. If I have a question, even weeks after the sale, he will still answer my questions. They took my trade , even though at first they offered lower than what we wanted. Worked with us to get the payments we wanted , even though all that changes once you get to the finance room where warranty and other things are tacked on lol. Took it to another Chevy dealer who did it for free and apologized for Beardmore trying to needlessly upcharge me. All not to mention they were not even ready for business at the time they scheduled my multiple appointments. Also, they set up multiple appointments because the first time I came to my appointment they "Didn't even have the part ordered yet." Unprofessional. Untrustworthy. Just purchased a 2019 Equinox from Beardmore and had a good experience. I worked with Dustin and really liked him. I didn't feel he was the stereotypical car salesman that we all know and loathe. I truly enjoyed working with him. I actually was not going to buy a car from here because they did not negotiate with me very well in the beginning. They let me leave on Tuesday night as they said they couldn't beat the price a competitor had quoted me. Sure enough, Wednesday morning I hear that they can match the price of the competitor! I told them I didn't need them to match it, I needed them to beat it--and they did. Garrett in the Finance department was friendly and helpful. We had to redo all my paperwork about a week later due to my old title not being in my name, but he was very pleasant about helping me and redoing everything. Out of 3 dealerships I looked at, Beardmore initially offered me the lowest value on my trade-in. However, I got them up on this. Just be careful as I was very surprised at their low-ball offer. NEVER go to Beardmore Chevrolet. First of all this is my fault for not understanding what I was getting into, they completely under paid me for my trade-in. Now I am 1000 miles, yes 1000 miles past my warranty on a 2017 brand new when purchased and my transmission is going out. I spoke with a manager and ask them since I'm only 1000 miles out of warranty if they would help me cover that. He told me they can't do that. I said if you don't help me you are going to lose a customer and he said "OK "I am freaking livid. Anybody that ever asks me about my experience at Beardmore I will tell them do not go there. I have 2 bad experiences with Beardmore Chevrolet. One in car sales and one in service. The 2010 Chevrolet Equinox is a lemon. There is even a class action lawsuit against GM over it. There was a recall issued that I was never notified about. Found out about it after the balance chain and timing bracket broke and caused engine damage. Beardmore told GM that they should only cover the balance chain and timing bracket and make me pay for the engine damage even though their faulty balance chain is what caused the engine damage!!! They also took 14 days to get my car fixed. The place is unorganized and looks at customers as dollar signs only. Terrible customer service. Take your business anywhere else. read more

On 9/16/22 we made the unfortunate mistake of going to Beardmore Chevrolet only because their website said they had a vehicle j was looking for. We've had other issues with this dealership but we decided to just go check this car out. We were great by a very rude salesperson, Lea Thomas. With what seemed like less than 20 vehicles on their lot I simply asked if they had my vehicle if interest. "Idk! You'll have to come inside!" Is what I was greeted with. We rolled inside and were sat in her cubicle. On the floor plugged into the wall, with screen lit up was and iPad with porn on in. I kid you not! Not sure what to do, I just sat there waiting for her to return. When she did return, she saw it on the floor and picked it up. Thinking she must be embarrassed, I was willing to move past it. She then sets it on her desk, still with the screen on! Oh boy, what an experience. Needless to say, I didn't buy a vehicle, nor will I ever be back. read more

I own one of the "ignition switch" recalls, so I went to Beardmore, & they loaned me a 2014 Chevy Malibu while my 2007 Saturn Ion was on their wait list to be fixed. As usual, Frank D. was right there to make this a smooth transition for me. I just retrieved my Saturn a couple of days ago, & again, Frank D. was right there to make this quick & painless. My only general complaint is that in the past when someone worked on our vehicles, they would vacuum & wipe down the interior & wash the exterior. Guess it's been awhile since dealerships have practiced that? Overall, I am satisfied. Frank D. has always been very courteous, etc. I never feel slighted or treated differently because I am a woman. Even though I live in Iowa & could easily go to the Council Bluffs dealership, I continue to do business with Beardmore because of Frank & the overall proficiency of their service department. read more

My 2005 Hyundai Tiburon is still going strong years later, even though it was a high mileage car. I recently drove by and saw their new showroom (which was under construction when I was there in early 2012) and it is really impressive. I purchased a car on March 15. We were told by Thane which documents we needed. I asked specific questions about proof of income. When these things were brought in, they were lost then found. Then I was told they weren't good enough.....a bank statement and copies of my time sheet. Then when I told him that the speakers didn't work after 7 days, the lift gate stopped working after 10 days he told me to bring the car back. This would leave me with no vehicle to transport 3 people to work and school. He wouldn't return phone calls and became a jerk over text. Ridiculous!!!! read more

I have been communicating with Beardmore Chevrolet to try and get this settled with no success. I explained in DETAIL in writing as to why I was not happy, and their online customer service person emailed said she would have "Todd" contact me. He never did. I asked for the Service Manager to contact me, he never did. I did have a sale manager call me, but he was not informed of the full story as to why I was not a satisfied customer. I was offered a free diagnostic, but it just made it seem like they were trying to protect a future sale, not satisfy the customer. My husband, son and I visited Beardmore a few weeks ago in hopes of making my son's first car-buying experience a pleasant one. Unfortunately it was everything but. The initial visit started out well, the salesmen/finance department were pleasant and accommodating but before we could even get to the cost of the vehicle, they started to give us the run around about financing. If we had poor credit scores, I could understand the hesitation. Unfortunately that is not the case and we were completely misinformed about how GM approves loans and what is needed to do so. To the point that even the salesman we were dealing with couldn't keep his story straight. Everything we were told turned out to be completely untrue. We left after 2 hours of our time being wasted and within a week my son had a beautiful new truck from another dealership without any of the hassle or lies that Beardmore fed us. One statement that was made that really turned us off was that salesmen at Beardmore don't receive commission so they don't care if they sell a car or not. As long as they meet their quota, they are good. Crazy part is, I'm also in the market for a new vehicle and gladly would've considered doing business with Beardmore again. Unfortunately they have ruined any chance of that happening. My advice, make sure you have your information correct on all levels before signing or providing any information to the team at Beardmore. Or you'll be walking away another foolish car buyer paying far more than you should. read more

as a combat veteran, I try not to complain about many things but this was One of the worst experiences ever. They were selling a Dodge ram for $5000 and The best they could do was drop $200 from the taxes making it an even $5000. Which I totally understand that in order to run a successful business, you always have to make money. But the inspection report was completely a hoax, as there were many issues with this truck that they would not mention unless you asked about it. Everything was going OK I guess until it came to talking numbers the guy Jason thought that I was a complete idiot as he tried to show different types of ways to finance a vehicle but not changing the price one bit. Also the floor manager Dan could not even spare 30 seconds of his time to come down and shake my hand and meet me face to face. No matter how busy you are, if you want to be a successful business you can always spend five minutes chatting with a customer, that goes such a long way. To top things off they stopped me as I was walking out of the door to bring me back and re-negotiate numbers. So I went back inside to renegotiate numbers, which was a total lie they would not drop the price even just to 4500. read more

They gave no communication that they were going to hold the car for 3-days because they were so backed up but instead during the 8 hours they had the car they looked for $1,000 worth of "fixes" but couldn't diagnose the A/C problem. They told me things were wrong which were not (like a non-existent coolant leak they wanted to fix for $500) and did not correctly diagnose some things I did need (I did need a new battery, but they said mine was good). For the repair I needed, they quoted $1000 and I got it done somewhere else for $400. On the phone the tech talked quickly and wanted me to quickly agree to all the repairs (probably more money than my car is even worth). Very shady dealers here that I did not realize until going to Lexus of Omaha. After signing for our car we noted that they added the $2500 warranty that was "thrown in". After repeatedly being told by Chad and Leah that "they didn't want us to feel like they were hiding anything from us." If you are not very knowledgeable and seasoned in the car buying business like myself please do not go here to be taken advantage of. The battery was bad and the driver door squeaked. They did not have any mechanics to work on the truck, nor did they have the parts to fix the truck. I purchased a used car from them because they go over the car from front to back to make sure everything is in good working order. After getting home I discovered a pretty bad oil leak and was distressed because when you buy a used car you get what you get. However, when I told my salesman, Cody, about it they immediately went about fixing it. I brought the car in and wasn't charged a thing. Got a new oil pan and oil change out of the deal! On at least three occasions, I've had the worst experiences with the Chevy service department. Once I left my car there all day-dropped it off at 9am and they never called to tell me what they found, I called twice to check on it and they hadn't even looked at it, at 3pm and then at 730pm. I finally had to go pick it up without them looking at it, but I wish they had originally told me they didn't have time so I wouldn't have been inconvenienced all day long. I went back today because my check engine light has been on intermittently and the gentleman at the desk refused to look at my car and said "I'd rather have it in the broke mode" because my check light wasn't on at the time. I've gone here several times for oil changes and I've given them chances to redeem themselves but at this point I'm fed up and I'll never take my car here again. I recommend avoiding this place, but maybe you'll get better customer service than I've experienced. Good luck! read more

i recentley had my new camaro ss in the shop for a light bulb replacement and they chipped my paint so they had to re paint the whole bumper then a car drove down the passenger side, denting the door and fender. I was not notified of the wreck til next night to pick up car when it was in a body shop.they had jammed a bunch of bondo on my door and fender instead of ordering new parts.The worst part is when i wanted a diffrent camaro they said they could but not for the same price of the one they just sold me!!!they stuck me with a wrecked car,and didnt even bother trying to find the same car to replace the one they wrecked not once but twice so watch these slimeballs!!! read more

Liars, very misleading, do not stand by their word! I stopped at Beardmore Saturday looking for a car for my parents. We discussed we could ONLY do it for $200 per month with NO MONEY DOWN and decided to get the Malibu, on the words of my sales lady and the manager that they could make this work for $200.00 with nothing down. Brought my 87 year old father and mother (from out of town) back to sign the papers, Beardmore managers came back at $279.00 per month, best they could do. Yesterdays deal was off the table, no way they could do it. IF this is the case, I would not have brought my parents down to Omaha, wasting the day. My parents and myself feel Beardmore is very deceitful, disrespectful and misleading with no reguard to customers time. Never recommend Beardmore and never buy from them!!!! read more

Should be zero stars. Worst experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Not a single sales person acknowledged us until we asked front desk if there were any sales reps available. After agreeing to a price, salesman's boss had to go talk to his boss for approval because internet price was lower then expected. Had bank preapproval from USAA who they stated they worked with a lot yet they seemed confused as to what to do. Ended up having to call USAA. Bank sent over loan documents which finance had us sign only their paperwork. Approximately 4 hours later we drove off with our new vehicle. 24 hrs later I receive a call from finance asking when USAA was sending check. Contacted Bank who stated did you sign the documents we sent dealer. Nope we were not asked to sign anything. So I completed the documents from the bank (second set) and check was sent. Four days later finance calls and tells me the received check was short and they needed an additional check. After reviewing documents financed called again and I told them I was on my way with check. Drove 30 plus miles walked into dealership and waved to finance manager (he was on phone). Went to service to setup appt (5 mins) and went back to finance only to see a locked door and be told he had left. Worst customer service from start to finish. Will find another Chevrolet dealership for servicing vs going through Beardmore and subjecting ourselves to even more bad service. First impressions give the real expectations for the future. read more
