    Unprofessional, not punctual. Was referred to a friend on a Saturday. Set up an appointment for…read morefirst thing Monday. No one showed so I called and they informed me that they "lost my ticket." I went through all the information to set up another appointment. They said they'd be out the same day. Hours later I called back and they informed me that they don't service my area even though they assured me three times that they could. They never bothered to call and tell me, and instead waited until I contacted them. While on the phone the representative was very impolite and unprofessional. Never review businesses but this experience was so bad that I wanted to try and save someone else the hassle.

    First contacted in early June to get a quote. Jim was supposed to call before coming, but just…read moreshowed up one day. Never did send me a quote - I had to call and ask for it. He said it'd be appox. 3 weeks to come out and do the install. A month went by and no one showed up for the install. I called every week and kept getting strung along. Finally, over a month into it, I was told they'd show up "that week" to get things installed. No one showed up or called. The next week, I was told they'd be there Friday. No one showed up. No one called. I was just sitting there waiting for nothing. And my electrician was ready, on stand-by to come get things wired immediately afterwards. I called THEM, but Jim wasn't there. Asked the secretary to have Jim call me back, and he never did. The secretary always refused to give me his cell #, and he didn't call before coming out to give the quote, which now seems to have been on purpose so I wouldn't have his #. You can call the office and hear him in the background and the secretary will act like she doesn't know if he's there. Too bad 0 out of 5 stars isn't an option. Their quality of work is irrelevant since their customer service and communication are as negative as they could possibly be! I've waited 2 months in the 90°+ heat for A/C to get installed for no good reason. They should have said up front they were too busy to get here before September and that I should use someone else. Simple as that! They don't deserve anyone's business.

    Chris from Quality Plumbing and Air set an appt. to come out to our home to check out and repair a…read morefurnace that wouldnt light (after he replaced the blower unit on it a few months ago). 2 times Chris set an appt. to come look at our furnace and both times he no called no showed us. We took time out of our schedules to be there for the appt. Each time we waited hours and he never bothered to show or even bother to return our calls.

    In late July I had a plumbing company come out and try to unclog my main sewer pipe. The company…read moretold me the main pipe was colapased. I called Chris with Quality Plumbing to give me a second option and he told me he put a camera through the sewer pipe and it was not collasped, and able to get through the clog. The drain was slow but I thought it was good because Chris told me the camera did not see there was anything wrong with the pipe. In November the drain was not draining, if I took a shower it would take 2 days to drain. I called Chris for 2 weeks with no answer. Chris finally answered my call and said he would come out with his equipment, which at that time it took him over a week. When he came out he said the pipe was collapsed and needed to call all the utility companies so when he dug up the sewer pipe he would not hit the gas line or any other utility line. Chris did call all the utilities, and they all came out and marked the under ground lines. From there I never heard from him again, outside of 2 weeks after he had the utilities marked, he claimed he had had a family death and forgot his phone, and promised me he was not ignoring me. Chris let me and my family live with sewer sludge in my basement for a month and a half total in waiting for him to come and fix it as promised. I finally got a hold of another company that did dig up the pipe and fix it. My problem is, shame on Chris for just blowing me and my family off, it only takes a second to answer the phone and let us know you will not be back. SHAME IN YOU!

    I called them because my thermostat was not turning on. I told them I wouldn't be home and that I…read morewould leave the door open. I gave them my number and told them to call me in regard to anything that needed to get done. I even gave them my girlfriend's number just in case I didn't answer. When I got home, I saw there was a new thermostat in the house. I figured it was just that the old one was broken. I never received a call from them about anything that was done. 2 months later I got a bill and realized that they ended up replacing more parts other than the thermostat. When I called to dispute the other charges the lady I spoke with was very nice and said she understood and that one of the owners would call me back about it. I was clear with her that I did not want to go to collections and that I just wanted to have this resolved as I did not think they should have replaced any parts that I did not call to get replaced without them calling me and getting my approval first. I never got a call so I didn't think much it, I figured maybe they just realized they messed up and weren't going to charge me. 3 months went by and I got the same invoice again saying that I had until the following Tuesday to pay or I would be sent to collections (I received it the Friday before). I called immediately and was told to call the following Monday(a day before getting sent to collections) as there was no one there to help me. When I called Monday, Jan Becker answered and when I explained the situation she said she had no idea about the situation and that the lady I had spoken with prior was no longer there. She said, "It is not my problem, this is your bill and we don't have to go out of our way to resolve this for you." I asked her if I could speak with someone intelligent and she hung up(understandable). I went to the location the same day and spoke with the husband of Jan. He said that too much time had gone by for them to do anything about it. "The only way for this to be resolved is for you to pay the bill." I told him to do his fucking job. He then told his wife to call the cops. I did not want to get sent to collections so I ended up leaving and came back to pay as it would be cheaper just to pay the bill than to go to court and dispute it. This is a terrible way to do business. One of the excuses Jan's husband made was that they are very busy and that their technicians aren't going to call everyone before making repairs. He said that someone making a service call to them is enough to warrant them fixing whats wrong and that because we were talking about parts that were not expensive (thermostat $111.59, power relay $49.96, 230volt blower motor $202.60, Capacitor $15.14) that they usually don't call. DO BETTER! This is not your house to make repairs on things without the owners approval. It doesn't take long to make a call and get an OKAY from the owner.

    Dave takes advantage of everyone (customers, employees, suppliers). I worked for him for a few…read moremonths years back. He pays his employees $10.00 an hour while charging $65/plus an hour to his customers. Dave instructs employees to work steady but slow for safety. This equates to much larger labor bills for the customer. He charged a customer $600.00 for use of a backhoe for 10 minutes! He instructs his employees to drive 35 mph to and from worksites regardless of speed limits. I just passed one of his trucks last week - I wonder who the poor customer was paying that $65/hr (labor) drive at 30 mph in a 60 mph zone! Don't be surprised if his workers show up at 8 am, disappear at 9 am and don't return to 4 pm! Guess who pays for that??? Avoid this guy and his family company. He is getting close retirement and gouging everyone!

I would just like to say that in our…read moreexperience all of the people who have worked with us, have been kind, considerate, happy, timely workers. I had a very messy toilet replaced, and the sweet guys who came to replace it didn't flinch, they cleaned up their mess, and what I considered mine too. We had some plumbing freeze and burst in a rental house, and these guys have made trip after trip out to fix things, without complaint, or over charging for time, materials or charging too much for fuel. They've even called to make sure if we wanted to bring in our own faucets, or purchase theirs. Some companies would automatically just put theirs in. The new toilet we had put in was a raised one for my disabled mother. We purchased it from them, and felt that the quality was far better then what we would have ended up with anywhere else. In our experience this is a very reliable company, and I would remind people that you get what you pay for. We have used other companies in the past and not always been satisfied, we have stuck with Johnson's because in the long run, their work stands up and their employees have great attitudes.
