I really wanted to buy a couple of things here, but everything was put back because one booth was…read moreselling signs that had the not so funny statement meaning "F$&@ the President." Totally cool that you don't like the current President; I loathed the former President. Yet, I didn't go around saying things such as "F$&@ the President." That is in total poor taste. Plus, if you are trying to sell merchandise, it seems like you might want to be Switzerland. And maybe the loss of my business is made up by all those who support those who say things like "F$&@ the President," but why take that chance? I definitely will not suggest anyone visit this establishment.

WATCH OUT FOR THE WOLF…read more My husband and I enjoy the Newport Flea Market every Saturday! We love the environment (minus the smoking) and the great finds! Better than Poor mans flea Market im Washington. Unlike Poormans I feel like there are less clothes booths, more USA made tools, better organization & more historical/vintage/classic America items. So like every clockwork Saturday comes, we walk inside the building and see a woman raffling off some Yeti cups. (Now next week she could be giving away rifles, gift cards or whatever) Everyone's pretty genuine/transparent at this flea market! (Most people we've met just want to sell their Stuff and have a good time) So when we signed up for the "free raffle" she said both of y'all should do it to "increase your chances." While filling out the raffle I noticed it asked if we were home owners or just renters ... weird. What age group were in. Not even a week later my husband got a call from those pesky water testing people (door to door sales) he set up an appointment. We watched her test the sink, the brita filter & the a water bottle. Everything came up red which means BAD!!! Oh no, so the hard water I've been having all my life is actually going to kill me! You're saying I should spend $9,482.00 dollars so you can put a filter in my yard and a pump in my house. Then pay $88.00 PER HOUR to install it!!! Wow ... wow! Moral of the story, NOTHING IS FREE, raffle is a ploy to get you to sign up for something else that you don't want! They waisted 40 min of our lives. BEWARE THE WOLF in sheep's clothing! (Btw once she left she was like let me go to my car and get the gift card to thank you for your time, she left and never came back.)

Outside of a few…read moregood vendors like the man who sells wonderful baked goods, most of this place seems to be 3d printed garbage, and Temu drop shipped trash. There's a few good folk who sell here, but you have to travel far through the whole place to find those few. Know that anything that looks new, any t-shirts, etc are all going to be Temu trash. The bakers, and a one man to sell some of the good stuff are the few honest people I've seen there. Also the wonderful man with the oxygen tank at the front is one of the few reasons I go so often. He is such a kind and wonderfully welcoming man.

Did not expect to stop at a flea market during my travels but here I am. Not entirely sure what I…read morewas expecting but the stuff for sale didn't really peak my interest. There were puppies there though and as much as I have no interest in having pets I did want to walk away with one. I will say this though, Skippy who has a produce stand in the back (closest to main road) was very, very generous. He and his staff give out samples of their produce and holy the strawberries and plums blew my mind away. I had no interest in buying anything, but, I did bring a half a bushel of macowen apples from my friends farm in MA with me for my trip. I asked to trade my apples for some of his berries and plums and he agreed. Probably brought him a pecks worth and he gave me some strawberries, plums and grapes! Good trade for both of us in my opinion. If you read this Skippy thank you again. I did buy a $5 berry and cream dessert from another vendor which I made them laugh because I skipped using the straw and just drank it out of the cup. I personally if I lived here would come just for the food.
