I was in need of a few of my staples, so we checked into the Traverse City location while roaming Front Street. Not only did I get my cranberry maple rub, but I also found Traverse City Cherry BBQ rub (chipotle chiles with cherry) that I can't wait to use! Staff was friendly but the store was laid out logically so I didn't need any help. My favorite spice shop chain! Stop in for a taste today!

We made multiple…read moreunsuccessful attempts to reach someone via phone to verify if it was in stock, so decided to drive to Traverse City to see what we could find out. (The spice had been out of stock for a while online.) When my husband relayed to clerk that he had a difficult time reaching them, and calls and messages weren't answered or returned, the guy said he doesn't listen to messages and doesn't answer the phone because he has a business to run, then accused my husband of being angry and called him an asshole. We did complete the purchase, but won't be back.

It was large and almost overfilling for just a sandwich, but the size of it kind of justified the price. They didn't skimp on the pesto. They offer an extensive line of high quality products, herbal supplements and health care nutrients at very reasonable prices. Equally as great is the knowledge you receive on a variety of health issues. Doesn't hurt to throw your problem out to these folks for some helpful advice. Since we live in a world full of disclaimers, I'm adding a disavowal only because I can't guarantee their products/consultation will aid or correct your particular condition. Obviously, consult your doctor regarding any treatment you seek. We like the free shipping options, so most of what we buy is delivered conveniently to my nephew's home-giving us an excuse to come hang out with the babies. Since we're in the area, today, it's smoothie time. You know the smoothie you get in here is all natural and healthy for you. They taste great, too. 02/26

Oryana Community Co-op is hands-down my favorite place to stop in Traverse City for a vegan meal,…read morewhether it's breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee. Oryana is truly a vegan haven. Not only do they have an amazing selection of grab-and-go items, but their made-to-order options are equally impressive. Their vegan dill wrap is one of my favorites and packed with flavor. I also love their prepared tofu slices, especially the curry and smoked varieties. Most recently, I tried the peanut tofu wrap and it was absolutely out of this world, incredibly flavorful, satisfying, and very filling. They also have fantastic options on the hot bar. One standout for me is the vegan breakfast burrito. It's only around $4, surprisingly filling, and loaded with flavor. A little messy to eat, but completely worth it! If you're vegan and visiting Traverse City, Oryana is an absolute must-visit.

Highly recommend checking out this store if you're in the area or are vacationing like myself.
