And I'm glad that I did because they have the nicest person working the front and the cutest tasting room. When you walk in the building, you'll notice a sign for a few different tasting rooms located in the same area. Leony's Cellars is located in the back left of the building if you're looking at it from the front. When we went, we were greeted by one of the winery owners (wife and husband combo own the winery). She was very personable and promptly helped us when we walked in. Tastings cost $5. This cost is waived when you purchase a wine bottle. If you're apart of their wine club, I guess you can also get tastings for free whenever you come up. But, $5 is relatively low-cost compared to other tasting prices. Plus, you get nice cheese accompaniments when you do the tasting also. For our tasting, we tried five wines: The Hunt Gewurztraminer 2016, Brave Pinot Noir 2014, Moreno Red, Ascendance Cabernet Franc 2016, and Sinful Barbera Port. Whether you like sweet or dry wines, there's a little bit of something for everyone in this tasting group. The person helping us was very generous with the wine samples. To be honest, I was a little bit tipsy/drunk when I walked out. And yes, I am a light-weight (unfortunately). My boyfriend and I ended up purchasing the Moreno Red because it was nice and smooth. Honestly, all of their wines are very decent and easy to drink. Plus, the artwork on the wine bottle is super cool. Apparently, the husband-owner hand drew the frame on the wine bottles. Very talented. If you get a chance to listen to their story of how they acquired the winery, it's pretty chill and kind of unique.

The owners were there both times and were truly wonderful people. Not only did they stay open pasted their normal hours for us, but they also made some beautiful pairings with amazing local cheeses that enhanced the experience. The wines had a wonderful variety and were delicious. Thank you to S & S for your hospitality.

They had a tasting flight of their own wines (Dead Crow) and another flight of well-selected wines, both of which were great. They also have quite a few good bottles for purchase off their list. This glorious gem of a place is a tasting room (for Dead Crow wines), a wine bar (offering a select number of master-crafted wines by the glass), and a bottle shop (filled with an impressively extensive list of options from the $20s to the low $100s). It offers something for every taste, including non-drinkers, and if you like wine and are anywhere around Wenatchee, this is a must visit. We felt welcomed from the moment we entered Sabrina's casually elegant and comfortable establishment until we left, floating on bubbles like we had been fêted. She's engaging and passionate about what she offers, and she is a brilliant wine talker who knows her champagne and bubbles (and if I may, has great taste in both, but I'm biased because she likes a lot of the same profiles I do). She takes good care of her customers, juggling between tastings seamlessly, keeping tastes poured and orders filled. The space feels intimate but still spacious enough that we weren't crammed next to others, and I love the color scheme. If I didn't live an hour and a half away, I would spend waaaay to much time here. So, go enjoy for those of us who can't!.
