I am from out of state and was in the area visiting my Sister. I was in desperate need of a barber but was contemplating on where would be the best place to go. I'm very particular about the level of experience a barber has and I always review their portfolio before proceeding on. I saw some of the reviews on here and was unsure of what some of the disappointment was. When I first came in the shop, everyone greeted me and made me feel welcomed. All of the barbers and the hairdresser are bi-lingual. They speak excellent English and Spanish for those who are wondering. The barber who cut my hair was Guillermo, who was extremely professional and courteous. He has done an amazing job on my hair and I would recommend anyone to check this shop out. ALL of the barbers do an excellent job, I saw a lady getting her hair braided and 2 other gentlemen getting their haircuts and the outcome was exceptional. I look forward to visiting this place again when I need another cut. Usually, when you're a new customer at most barbershops you don't get the same treatment as a regular. However, that was not the case here for me. I can't wait to come back next week and get cut again before I leave. Thank you Mr. Guillermo for a job well done! read more

I decided to switch to this barber shop after my last barber became unreliable. I came to Bean Shop to see Juan because he's my friends barber, I've never looked back. Juan is reliable, punctual, organized, and always hooks me up with the look I'm going for. The shop is kept clean and is recently renovated so it looks sleek and comfortable. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a good barber experience. read more

Bean Shop - Hair products as soon as you walk in. - Barbers Near Me - Miami, Florida

Crappy Haircut. Went early in the morning and the barber was disinterested and completely messed up my hair. I have to shave it all off - Waste of Money. Waste of My time, and trust. And to make matters worse, i'm Bald now. P.S TIP was still given - although regretted. Terrible Service - and i probably could've done a better job at home. Won't be coming back. read more

These guys know how to cut hair, and you can't beat the price or convenience. Only $12 for a cut, I can walk in whenever I want and I never have to wait. I usually have Ricardo cut my hair, he doesn't speak much English but he gets the job done. The only downside is the business only accepts cash. read more

After reading some reviews on this shop prior to going, I thought it was going to be a shop to go to. Unfortunately, this shop was very disappointing. As I walked in, all chairs were filled but only one person was waiting so I figured I would be next right away. I did realized that noone greeted me as I walked in. As I was waiting, the barbers were finishing with their guest but did not acknowledge me or asked if I wanted a haircut. 30 minutes passed by and I was still waiting while more barbers were finishing with their guests. I finally walked out. I guess since I was not a "regular", I was not an "important" guest. I'm not sure if the owner was present at the time (most are always present), but if so, I would suggest to rethink customer service that this shop lacks. Would NOT recommend this place. read more

I travel for work, so every city I stay in I need to find the best. This place isnt much to look at from outside but looks are definitely deceiving!!! BEST HAIRCUT EVER!!! Great price for high quality work. Great atmosphere and even better service. Anyone local or visiting should really check this place out. read more

I've always liked every haircut I have gotten here. I have been going to the Bean Shop for a while now. The haircuts are $10, they've got great hours, and plenty of barbers to help. I have had haircuts by pretty much every barber and they all do a great job. Most of the barbers are bilingual (English/Spanish) so you can always find someone to help. Heads up, they don't take credit cards though. read more

Bean Shop - Hours of operation - Barbers Near Me - Miami, Florida

This barbershop should be named "Just F*ck Me Up". Unless you just want a buzz cut don't even think about going there or you'll have to deal with messed up haircut. The guy cuts 6-8 inch long hair with clippers over comb!!! On top of that, when the guy realized that he messed up, he found a perfect solution - apply hair spray to everything and trim the other side with the hair spray in the hair! Like what??? The point is - stay away from that place. read more

Go see Danny. He gave me a great haircut. I really appreciated that he took his time and paid attention to detail. Will come back again.

Mohawks to fades. You get what you want at a great price. I was at the mall and see a guy with mohawk and ask him where he got cut... He pointed me to The Bean Shop. Called ahead so I didn't have to wait. Julio is one of the best barbers. They are all good! We wanted a mohawk and got one! They cut all ages. Every salon promises but this barber shop delivers. Great quailty hair cuts, very friendly staff and affordable. read more

Got a really good beard trim for $5 from a guy who didn't speak a word of English. Plenty of parking, nice old school sports-themed barbershop feeling, and I've never had to wait before being seated. read more

This place is awesome. I used to go to the old shop Bean worked at YEARS ago, but when him and my other favorite barber left I kinda felt "barber-less". Me and my brother jumped around from barbershop to barbershop cause we couldn't find anyone we really liked...until we finally found Bean Shop! It's cool, layed back, old school, quick...and every barber there can give a real good cut. Hands down my top pick in Miami. read more

They attended all their friends and they didn't attend me. I waited like an hour to get a hair cut. The first guy that is to the left when you come in didn't acknowledge me. Eventually some big chubby guy gave me a hair cut and it wasn't even good. The place is full of bums too, doesn't seem like the barbers are good people. The people that go there seem to be bums too. Weird place read more

What an amazing shop! Very talented barbers!! I went in a bit scared since i am a girl and didn't know if they would know what to do, Bean cut my hair and he was the nicest and most talented barber! Did an amazing job!! Thank you! read more

What a relief! I'm so sick of going to the Hair Cuttery, feeling like a mannequin being processed by someone during her shift, where no one wants to speak English, and worst of all, being reminded in almost every visit of my male pattern baldness with attempts to sell Nioxin. Gee thanks, Hair Cuttery, way to make me feel good and want to come back. So that alone was a reason to yelp and seek a new place to go. I'm so glad i found this place. There are a dozen or so barbers working on a Friday evening and i was lucky to have no wait. I noticed that all of them took their time....not a really quick turnover. My barber was very detailed and went over things at least twice to make sure everything looked right. He was a professional and gave me a great cut. I have high arches, so i often get butchered, but not today! I'm coming back and next time will get the shave along with the cut. Great prices too...$12 for a cut, 17 cut and shave. Tip separate, cash only. read more

Nice friendly place, my son got a great hair cut with Bean. No fuss no muss, just a great haircut, fast. He was patient and nice to my son, very professional. My son hates getting his hair cut because it is always a hit or miss. Once you find a good barber, he leaves the shop. Not at The Bean Shop. The same barbers have been in the same location since 2005. I look forward to many more great cuts for my son. read more

A lot of barbershops in this area so after looking through the locations, I gave Bean Shop a shot. As soon as I walked in and asked how long the wait was, I was greeted and sat with a barber. Ricardo was friendly and accommodating. He gave me a cut exactly how I wanted and I will definitely return. All the barbers there all capable of giving the cut you want so I highly recommend this shop if you are looking. read more

First time here, a little nervous but Juan did an awesome job. Now looking fresher then ever!!

I'm new to the city, so I was nervous about getting a haircut. These guys had a chair available right away, and went to work. I asked for a pretty mundane style, yet still received one of the most thorough and careful jobs I've experienced. Nothing but good things to say about the Bean Shop! read more

I've been a loyal customer for many years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I've cut my hair with Cheese for all these years but would trust any barber here. That's the great thing about Bean Shop, all of the barbers have exceptional skills in cutting hair. If you notice, the shop is always busy and full of clients. Only the best barbers are hired to work here. Don't play yourself by going to a "cheaper" barbershop. You are certain to find a great barber and get amazing hair cuts here. read more

I have been coming here for 5 years. Best fades in Miami! They offer a great relaxing atmosphere. Barbers are very friendly. Highly recommend you make appointments. This place gets packed on Fridays, so try to stop by earlier in the week if you don't make the appointment. read more

Not for working professionals & most certainly not for kids. I would give 0 stars if it was possible. First timer, had my 6 yr old daughter with me. We were immediately barraged with F-word this and N-word that...and not just from the clientele...FROM THE STAFF!! I was appalled. I tried to move to get away from the big loudmouth barber in the first chair, but they were all the same. I should have just left, but I missed my lady downtown yesterday - shes not back till Tuesday - and I needed a cut for a meeting on monday morning, so I just sat her down with a game and dealt with it. Then came the cut. Explained what I wanted to my guy, and voila, he butchered me! I guess I should have also known this was not going to go well when everybody in the shop was getting a super tight ghetto fade with lines and designs and other nonsense. If you just want a well groomed professional cut, this is not your place. If you want to look like a teenage hip hopper from the latest greatest Pitbull video, you'll be in heaven. Never again. read more
