I planned…read moreto give them to my fiancé (now husband) as a wedding gift, but I wanted them engraved with the nautical coordinates of our wedding destination (Santorini, Greece) and our initials. Tiffany & Co. required sending them out for engraving and they wouldn't be back for 3-4 weeks. That was not an option. I also went to several other engravers in Boca Raton and Delray Beach. None could do the job in house with their particular equipment, and they would have to send them off for specialty engraving. I was starting to think these cufflinks would have to become a Christmas gift instead of a wedding gift! Well to my surprise when I called/texted Ruby's, I got a response in 5 minutes and was told they could do the job in house and they could do it while I waited. To be completely honest, I was a little skeptical because of the location of the store (I'd never even been in a flea market before), and I was also a little nervous because these weren't inexpensive cufflinks. Well I arrived the next day at Ruby's, and I must say I was thrilled with the entire experience. Robert was the jeweler who did the engraving, and he assured me he could get the job done exactly as I wanted it. Together we drew up a sketch of what I was thinking, and he even made an example on metal of what the final product would look like. It was perfect! Robert had the cufflinks perfectly engraved in under 20 minutes. I couldn't be happier with my experience there. I am going to have several other items engraved at Ruby's, and I want everyone to know they should not overlook this place just because of the location. These guys are professionals, and I am confident you'll get better service here than anywhere at the mall or any fancy jeweler. Their prices are more reasonable as well. I wanted to write this review because I believe in giving credit where credit is due, and I want other people who have the same concern I didto know that this store is going to meet or exceed their expectations. The salesman was young himself so he even offered style and sizing suggestions for my son, which as a single Mom, I really appreciated. We could also see that they created beautiful, high quality chains at a fair price and we were comfortable we were making the right choice on this high ticket item. After putting money down, my son's chain was ready sooner than promised --about a week after we put the deposit down--and the quality was top notch. He loves it and I think it looks great on him. He liked his chain so much that he's already put money down on his NEXT piece and we'll be loyal repeat customers at CMG! For special orders, it may take anywhere from two to four weeks depending on what you need done -- take the stone from one ring and add to another, repair parts on a tag heuer automatic watch where they have to order the parts before installing them. But they are always transparent with the time frame and pricing. Most of the time, I need battery replacement for my long list of watches that also includes my wife's. Or if I need a ring re-sized. Battery replacement they normally can do within 10 minutes, and they have a nice comfortable lounge chair to sit while you wait.
