After looking on Yelp at reviews I called Road Runner because I've driven by their shop hundreds of times (live a mile away). Called and spoke to driver. Gave my location and the address of my mechanic. Guy said he'd be there shortly. I thought "ya, right." Then called immediately back and asked price. I can't recall how much it was, but I remember thinking "that's not horrible." Much to my surprise, tow truck arrived about 15 minutes later! Guy was cordial, and almost apologetic for how much he charged (which was the price quoted on the phone). This was about 3-4 weeks ago. Looking back, I realize the service was great, and the price was very fair compared to what I've experienced in the past. Around 35 miles and an hour round trip.
