They told me in person that no one cleans. Many of the electrical outlets were loose and or crooked. They had not performed any maintenance tasks besides painting over all stains in the apartment, leaving me diarrhea next to the toilet for me to clean. I have been banned from the use of the hot tub ,fitness center and club house due to the fact when I confronted them of the dereliction of duty they threatened me with eviction and made me suicidal. I believe they enjoyed pushing me into that state. Thank you, I am dumbfounded by the lack of pride or diligence taken to maintain the property. My experience with Saperstein was in 2009-2010 I had leased a 1-Bedroom apartment from them when they owned and operated the Morton House Apartments located in Grand Rapids, MI, which was a low-income high-rise apartment complex that served those of us at poverty-level income levels but was shut down in 2011 because the building was sold. I was homeless at the time and was desperate for somewhere to live, and Saperstein was able to do that for me at Morton House, so I have no complaints. I had a nice apartment and got my life back on track living there, held 3 different jobs while renting from Saperstein as well as attended college. I am not as familiar with their other properties, but I can say I would definitely consider residing in one of their communities again if ever given the opportunity.
