This man is not one for paying attention to details. BUT he gave me my money back after realizing…read morethat he couldn't do the work I was asking and for making a mess of my new bath tub refinishes. I appreciated that . I won't mention the mistakes he made while he was in my home, but I'll say that if he just slows down and pays very close attention to being neat, organized, clean and pay attention to details as he goes about his work; he'll get more reviews and I'd bet they would be good reviews in the future. Sorry to give such debbie downer feedback. But, I wonder if maybe just sharing my observations might help business in the future. I like hiring guys like him because it's a small independent business. People just need to give them a chance. What I think was absurd though, is that he told me to eat $#!T and die, when a request for estimate was sent out for other work to lots of other handy men. Honestly, this guy is just going through a lot in his personal life, I'd guess. But either way, I can see him for what he is... stressed out. If you do want to hire him, just get him to slow down, take his time, pay attention to details, be cleaner and more organized and you'll be fine working with him.
