I found the ambience a little odd-no music and just an eerie feel to it. Maybe that's because I was sitting next to the kitchen and only heard the soft buzzing of a machine. Some old country music could have livened the place up a bit. There was a Christmas tree decorated in patriotic colors with a cowboy hat on top. The food was....ok. Not a ton of flavor. Service was friendly enough, but not overly welcoming. Maybe if you're a regular from the small town, you have a different experience. But just passing through, it was just ok.

If you are a Utah who likes sugar you might honestly enjoy your experience. But we are from out of town, and don't have that Utahn sweet tooth, so we were shocked by how sweet the spiced iced chai latte (2/5 stars) was. I honestly could only taste the sugar, although I could see the texture of the spiced chai. We also got a caramel iced coffee (3/5 stars) which was palatable to us, but twice the price and not as good as the coffee at Mavericks. But the staff were friendly and I think they're doing a good job with their target clientele, so I'll give them 3/5 stars overall. We would recommend this coffee shop if you're looking to sit and relax and enjoy the ambience, or if you have a sweet tooth. If you're in a rush, try the self-serve coffee at Mavericks across the street.

The store is beautiful, just the right size, and contains the most impressive variety of candy I've seen in one place! I'm a sucker for anything not mass-produced. You can tell the owners make everything here with love. We took with us, and later sampled, a bit at a time: the dark chocolate and milk chocolate salted caramels, the rock candy, dipped oreos, (OMG) the jaw breakers, lego-style sweet tarts, and the taffy. WOW! All of it was great, according to my candy connoisseur-kids, and me, of course! The person working at the time was lovely and talkative, and she conversed with my husband about the nuances of a small town, while I browsed, tempted by most everything I saw. My one regret is that we didn't take more with us to add to our stash! Check this place out and support the best small town, small business that I've ever had the pleasure to stumble across. Food: perfect o!…read more Service: a three 3, but after all, it was waitress's first day. She did spend a lot of time asking about specific items for us when we ordered so I was happy with that. Ambiance: really cute the only negative is there aren't many tables to choose from and no booth type setting so can't completely relax in chairs. that's just me however. I'm not going to complain too much because we enjoyed ourselves regardless. Managers note: I was just wondering why the restaurant is listed as a food truck when looking it up. Also it states that it's open but it's not on Wednesday. We walked all the way down the street from where we were staying to be disappointed when we arrived. Just wondering why and maybe giving other customers a heads up, seems strange that it's listed like that when searching on google.

We had seen this place listed online and it was on the near side of town, so we looked for it as we drove in. Rather than a 'restaurant', this is more of a stationary food truck / food trailer. There is a shared gravel parking lot where 3 different such places provide meals. They also have a set of 4 picnic tables with a fixed roof / open sided metal canopy so you can eat in the shade. They have both pictures of the menu items as well as a text menu posted. You approach the window and your order is taken. You pay at that point. They then either call your name (if it is busy) or maybe bring out your food to the picnic table area (if it is slower). I'm not awarding them a 5 score because this was the absolute best Thai meal I've had. That wasn't quite the case. The food was generally pretty good. I thought the satay was tasty but slightly charred in spots (including the stick you use to hold it). I'm giving this 5 on the basis of the prices (reasonable) and the expectation vs. result. I was not sure what to expect from a food trailer, but this was a pleasant surprise. Two of our party even had some leftovers which we dropped off at our motel's refrigerator before heading back to the park for the afternoon. I wasn't in Vernal long enough to try the 1 - 2 other Thai places there. However, I'm glad we opted to stop here for a memorable lunch.
