We came to her perplexed, running out of time to get to Oceania in the summer, with a vision that could not be pulled off without years of planning expertise and a penchant for networking. At the beginning of January, I reached out to Amy asking her for help booking our 2-week honeymoon to New Zealand and Fiji. We connected the same day and she reached out over the phone, and then had us fill out a form with our vision. The target was a late March-early April trip, just in time to catch good weather in both countries. Over 2-3 months, Amy worked tirelessly to cover off on every little detail. As the sample itineraries came in, she listened intently to our concerns and preferences, helped us scenario plan ("Travel north? Or south?") And gave her professional opinion as a travel agent without being pushy. She also hooked us up with someone at Down Under Answers who was more knowledgeable than she was about New Zealand adventures to help us experience the most we could out there. We traveled from Montclair, New Jersey to Queenstown to Rotorua to Auckland to Fiji. It was virtually seamless but only because we worked with such a talented and caring travel agent who helped us plan realistic, vacation-appropriate timelines. The icing on the already incredible cake was when we received a welcome champagne bottle the first night in our first hotel with restaurant recommendations and a Happy Honeymoon note~ My husband and I will be most certainly be working with Amy again for our next trip to really get the most out of it! Arranging the trip and getting a quote was very simple and quick. On the return part of the trip, I was late getting to the airport and delayed our departure. I expected them to charge me for the delay -- it was my fault and I tied up their aircraft almost an extra forty-five minutes -- but they did not charge me for the extra time. Also, we had a dog on our trip and the whole operation was very dog friendly. They even had a noise-reducing head set for the dog in case the noise was too much for him.
