It was…read moreclear that Clearwater Boat Rentals was the way to go when we were planning a day out on the open water. They are located at Slip #48 which is conveniently right across from the Private Parking Lot to the Marina! The Marina provides Restrooms, Shopping, Food, Beverages, Ice, and anything else you might need/forgotten for your Boating Day! The friendly staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional giving us all of the information we would need for our day out. Chris, our educated informate explained the very complex Boating Map to us letting you know where to go, where not to go, fish you may see, and everything you can do/see while out on the water. The next step was for the Boat Tour; a quick painless run-down of where everything is on the boat! Their Rentals include a Cooler with Ice, and a Trash Bag! A HUGE Bonus that we have never encountered while privately renting any other boat! There is plenty of Storage on board for just about anything you would like to bring but be sure to put your things in a Waterproof Bag as the Boat Floor does get wet no matter what compartment you put your belongings in. Our 21Ft Cruising Pontoon has capacity for 2-9 Passengers with an Engine Size of 70HP! Everything on the Pontoon was Clean, Well Maintained, and in "New" Condition! It is also equipped with a Stereo and they provide you with a Jack Cable so you can use your Smart Phone Tunes! Whether you are planning on going Fishing, Cruising, Hanging at the Sandbars, Sightseeing, or Mega House Hunting you will be able to do it all! If you have any questions or get lost just give them a quick call! Chris was extremely helpful when we got lost and when a Storm was a brewing towards us! We would definitely Rent from Clearwater Boat Rentals again when we are in the area!

When…read morewe asked to test ride a couple, the staff wouldn't allow it, only offering their 'test board'. If you know anything about skating, one board can be completely different than another, so this is useless. Considering all the nuance (shape, length, flex, weight) that go into a longboard, it is insanity to think that a customer would drop $160+ (their lowest price) on something that they can't test on the sidewalk. In 30+ years of skating and surfing, I have never been to a shop that wouldn't let you test out such a big purchase. Leave this shop to the tourists and posers and spend your money somewhere that actually cares about the culture.

Spent…read morehundreds of dollars here as it's such a cute shop with great brands, but it needs major help in the customer service department. The girls working the shop are more interested in gossiping/talking amongst themselves and staring at their phones than being welcoming, helpful, or kind... esp the ones working on 8/11. We likely would have spent much more, but we got the feeling they would have rather us just left than buying anything at all. We witnessed them treating many others this way -- including a surfer who came in looking for an accessory to his board, who was sent away with nothing but a weird attitude. Idk, maybe find new employees.
