I seriously would not use these guys... they just emailed me a clients personal tax return info., including SS# etc. I have never done business with them, but this is a complete breach of confidentiality for their client. This is a great place to have your taxes done if there is any complexity to them, meaning you don't normally just fill out an EZ form. In January I receive a worksheet from them which takes a couple hours to fill out and mail back (or email). A few days later my taxes are done and I'm always glad not to owe. For ten years Lisa has been doing my taxes and puts a smile on my face when I see what's going to automatically be deposited into my bank account. What I love is that I never have to leave home to have a professional do my taxes. I don't have to think about the multitude of instructions, forms, and attachments. I recently had a horrible experience with Charles. He did not wait for me to resolve an issue with my W2 as we agreed in the 5 min of zoom conversation, instead he prepared my taxes with the wrong information and mailed it to me without ever calling me. He also attached a bill for $200 but my taxes were not completed and the info was incorrect. It said I owed over $6K. When I called him and told him I will be using Turbo Tax instead he started screaming at me over the phone, calling me names and hurled extremely insulting and hurtful comments about me personally. Also yelled to "not ever call us here again". I called the office again to file a complaint and Sharon told me the owner was out for the day so I left my info with a request for him to call me back the following day. Four days later, I am still waiting. Charles is also very unprofessional in his conduct, every time I've been there he boasts about how many properties he owns and such instead of focussing on my taxes. I would not recommend Charles or this tax service to anyone. read more

Beach Cities has been doing my taxes since 1994. Even if you have simple taxes it is still worth going to Beach Cities! My boyfriend owed because he never itemized his taxes. I took him to Beach Cities and this year, finally he didn't owe anything. They send an envelope around December each year with a blank organizer & a long letter explaining all the new laws that will pass. They make it so easy for me. Would give 6 stars if I could. Saved us tons! Extremely knowledgeable in all things financial... not just taxes. Keep in mind the date of the one bad review(2012)... It's 2015 now and the staff, office, procedures and customer service have obviously improved since that review. You won't regret choosing BCF. They saved me about $900.00 a month... yeah, no joke.
