I paid $38 for a car wash $33 plus a $5 tip. They said they were going to clean my mats. When I paid for the service, somebody inspected my car and did not mention that they would not take my mats out and rinse or wipe them down, which is what I thought they would do which is what most car washes do when you pay more than the standard cleaning, which incidentally said clean mats . No one said it's just vacuuming-and even here the vacuuming left much to be desired. After the car wash, the mats were dirty, covered in dirt and dust and garbage -literally. They were sticky. There was garbage on the floor by my the doors and there was garbage in the side door pockets. It did not look like they had vacuumed under the seats or along the sides where the door opens. There were still a lot of dust and dirt there that I had to wipe out myself . There was spots all over the car dashboard, seats, center console etc. They clearly didn't wipe it down. I spent $38 on this car wash and the car was pretty dirty inside and I ended up cleaning it myself for about 15 to 20 minutes after the car wash. I usually am pretty lenient on this. I don't expect it to be perfect. I did not pay for a detail. But it should at least appear clean on first glance-it did not. I shouldn't have to take my mats out myself and shake them off and wipe them down myself to get the dirt off. I shouldn't have to wipe down the center console or the dashboard. I shouldn't have to clean the dirt and dust and garbage that was inside the doors on the floors and the cobwebs out of the doors and more. So I went to talk to the manager --Gustavo and he was completely rude and condescending -he told me it was OK that it had garbage on the floor and in the doors, cobwebs, spots etc. he said that was fine. The $38 that wasn't a full clean -they just vacuum. I explained that even if they vacuumed, it should've been in much better shape than it was and perhaps someone should've gotten me to let me know that they could clean the mats better for more . he kept saying let's see your car. I tried to explain that I had already cleaned it and I had a few photos and that wouldn't be all that helpful. He did not want to hear it. Hee was very defensive right off the start. He made it sound like for $38 they literally wash the outside, pass the vacuum over and that's it. That's ridiculous. I've been getting my car washed for a long time and I've never heard something so absurd . I could've done a better job at the drive-through car wash myself. and this was not a 14.99 special. This was $33 plus tip for a hand wash inside and out with a representation on the sign that the mats would be cleaned not just vacuumed --cleaned. And to top it all off, the manager, Gustavo was rude and condescending, and kept interrupting me and kept talking over me and telling me he didn't want to talk to me. And he took a picture of my license plate when i asked him not to. i'm a Venice resident. I've been to this car wash before a number of times. it's not always perfect. But, it was certainly better than this. I will never come back and I strongly recommend you don't visit it either. It's got a bad review for a reason. read more

THIS CAR WASH IS HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! They are overpriced, and they do a horrible job!!! I paid over $30 for my interior/exterior car wash service (on a weekday morning- that was the early bird special), and when they returned my car, they did not even vacuum the inside, not at all! I had to pull up to the vacuum to have them vacuum my vehicle, and the attendant said, "Oh, it's just a quick vacuum; we don't do a full vacuum." For $30! I had damage occur to my vehicle while it was in the care of Beach Cities Car Wash at their Venice location. While still in the drying area and before the car was released back to me, I noticed that a piece of rear trim beneath the taillight was missing. I reported it immediately on site and submitted a formal claim with photo documentation and a repair estimate. I have now followed up three times over the past couple of weeks and have not received any acknowledgment or response. I'm hoping management will see this and respond so we can resolve this promptly. read more

I've been going here for almost a decade and at this point I think I'm better off leaving my car out during a rain storm than paying this place for whatever they are calling a "car wash" these days. Today they tried to upsell me to a $150 car detailing because of a little dust and standard bird droppings on the car. When I let them know I only wanted a regular wash the guy had an attitude and proceeded to barely wash the car. I paid $30 with tip and the car was barely vacuumed, still had bird droppings all over it and streaks absolutely everywhere. Complete waste of money. I went home and spent 10 minutes with some Chemical Guys spray and the car looks good as new. Five minutes at a self-service car wash and a little bit of elbow grease is 20x better than whatever they're pretending to do at this place. Do not bother coming here. Will not be back. read more

I haven't been here for 3 years for a reason , I own 2 cars and have them cleaned weekly and I stopped coming here as they always try and up sell u .... I pull in explain quickly what I want then the guy runs his finger over my headlamp 2024 full size Range Rover and Begins to try to tell me about sap etc my car was parked for 2 weeks in my garage so zero sap ..... just a con man trying to con I shut him down in quick time , I walk into the bathroom and its still gross and not fixed as it has been for 7-8 years . There were still leaves on my car after the wash. I was directed to a blower to finish the job. I was frustrated because everything was wet. The owner Guillermo Garcia started yelling at me and threatened me several times, because I was using the wrong blower and looked angry. This man has a real anger problem! DO NOT GO HERE. Especially if you are a elderly white women. (I don't think he would have treated an elder Latina so nasty.) He would not refund the other washes I had purchased and told me I was trespassing when I asked and he told me he would call the police. DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR WASH! With everything being so expensive and paying for one of their premium service I would've expected a bit more attention to detail. My windshield had a bunch of debris (leaves and twigs/sticks) right next to the windshield wiper. I ended up tipping simply based off the fact that I know that the people actually drying the cars don't get paid very well. Not a fan and won't be returning again. read more

I honestly only go to this car wash because it's close to my house, I've known they were terrible for years but after my last experience, I confirmed I won't be coming back. They take less than 15 minutes to clean your car, yet somehow you end up paying close to $100, which makes no sense. If I'm spending that kind of money, I'd expect them to take their time and actually do a thorough job--at least 30 minutes or something that reflects the price. What really pushed me over the edge was the interior cleaning. I had spilled a protein shake on the passenger carpet (yes, it was a decent spill, but it was just a drink- not mud, not something extreme). They charged me $79 just to clean that one area. I was shocked when I heard the price I told him is that to clean all of the carpets and he said no just one area and to clean all of the carpets would be close to 170 . I was fine paying it because I needed the smell gone . Except... it wasn't. My car still smells terrible, honestly worse than before they cleaned it. The protein shake smell is still very clearly there, and it's now mixed into this unpleasant, almost sour odor. For $79, I expected it to actually be cleaned, not barely touched let alone made worse. Overall, the pricing feels completely unreasonable for the quality and time spent. I understand prices are going up, but then the service needs to match and it just doesn't here. Being pricy if you give worthy we give is one thing, but ripping off clients for no reason just because you came up with a price is far from being a fair business. Outdoor was is $500 while the Del Rey car wash down the street is $180 and they appreciate the business, helpful and nice. The trick of I'll talk to the boss about the price" doesn't work when we see you going and coming back... talking to no one. The 2 stars low eating seems justified. read more

Save your money and don't come here. When you're paying for a service, you expect a certain level of professionalism and attention to detail as they are charging you a hefty amount yet that's exactly what's missing here. The quality of the detailing felt rushed and careless, with noticeable areas completely overlooked and others done inconsistently. It honestly felt like corners were cut just to get through the job as quickly as possible. I had to tell them multiple times where wax residue was visible and wax on the black trim. What made the experience worse was the lack of accountability. Instead of taking pride in their work or trying to make things right, they act like they did nothing wrong and their response came off as dismissive and indifferent. Good customer service should make you feel heard and valued, but here it felt like the opposite. Overall, the experience was disappointing. I hope this helps future clients. read more

All employees on site at the time acknowledged the damage and completed the incident report. Management who was not present at the time of the damage: "I've been in the business many years at many carwashes. I've seen the video. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared. I visited this car wash and had a concerning incident involving a missing item from my vehicle. I had packages in my backseat that I planned to take directly to the post office after the wash. When I went to sign off on the car wash, I visually confirmed they were still there. I went and grabbed my things from the waiting area, tipped the person vacuuming the inside and went to the post office. When I arrived, one small envelope--containing a rare coin--was gone. I immediately returned and asked the manager to check the vehicle with me. We also looked through trash bins, but the item was not found. I filed a claim on-site and followed up with an email the same dat, requesting that management review any available video footage from that morning. It has now been nearly two weeks with no meaningful response or resolution from the company. I understand that accidents can happen, but the lack of communication and professionalism in handling a customer's concern is unacceptable. At minimum, I expected timely follow-up and a willingness to investigate the situation thoroughly. If you choose to use this business, I would strongly recommend removing all valuables from your vehicle beforehand and ensuring accountability. I was disappointed with both the wash and the customer service. My car was not fully cleaned the first time. It rained shortly after, so I planned to return for a rewash. I work 9 to 7 and was unable to come back within the three day window because they were closed when I was available. When I returned on Saturday, they would not make an exception. This place sucks! No one seemed to care about what they were doing and could care less about customer satisfaction. First they upsold me for the $26.99 "exterior" wash, then when my vehicle came out still dirty, they told me I should of upgraded to the $55 wash and that excessive dirt or bugs aren't covered in the "exterior" wash. Why is it an exterior wash if they won't fully wash the exterior? The guy that put the tire dressing on the wheels put so much on it sprayed all the side of the car when I drove away. When I asked to speak with the manager, he lied and told me he was the manager and told me to leave. I went and spoke with the guy who checked me in and he said they aren't willing to re-clean the car or give me a refund and basically told me to F off. Came here on 4/2 around 5:25pm and got the most basic car wash ($30). I keep dollar bills in my car for homeless men and before I came to the Venice location today I made sure to clean out my car/glovebox with any trash to avoid hassle for them. As I was leaving I went to get hand sanitizer out of my glovebox and noticed all of my dollar bills were gone. I sifted through to double check and when I noticed they were definitely gone I went back and told them and they all laughed at me/ told me they did not touch the glovebox when very clearly they did. PSA I am a 20 something girl and they definitely thought I wouldn't realize. Completely disappointed in their reaction and they did nothing to compensate for stolen items. read more

Less than a month ago I visited Beach Cities Car Wash on Lincoln and was extremely disappointed. Despite paying for a car wash, there was still sand left in my car. When I brought it back, the staff was unhelpful and rude, and the mats that were originally in my brand-new 2025 Mercedes were missing. I tried contacting the manager multiple times but received no response. I went back today to see if they had my Mats and spoke to the manager, not only he did not apologized he lied: Overall, this experience was not worth the cost and hassle. I won't be returning and advise others to think twice before choosing this car wash. I hope the owner does himself a favor and hires a better manager. I was waiting for the day to come.. when it was a different guy working the vacuum area.. I asked for a regular car wash.. no problem $28. Ran through the car wash. The back story here is I have had my car for 3 years now. The first time i do recall going through the car wash. Every other time after that the other man working insisted my car can't fit, (mind you i have friends with taller cars go through the wash) and tells me i have to do a "HAND WASH." This man had been LYING TO ME for the last 3 years for the up charge. So instead of a quick car wash, not only have i lost money, but time as well...over an hour for this "hand wash" that he claims i had to do. What a rip off this guy has done to me. So disappointed! Possibly the worst car wash I ever had - they even broke the back cover of my seat. When I asked the guy who cleaned it he just shrugged it off and signaled me to move the car as others were waiting. 1 Star - Shockingly Poor Quality for the Price I brought my Porsche GTS to Beach Cities Car Wash in Venice for a $90 hand wash, tipped $20, and left with one of the dirtiest cars I've ever picked up from a car wash. Total spend: $110 -- and I'm honestly embarrassed for them. The windows and windshield were still visibly filthy. The exterior was poorly cleaned overall. As for the interior, the "hand wash" includes only a quick vacuum and a light wipe of the top of the dash -- nothing else. They do not wipe down the steering wheel, center console, doors, seats, or interior surfaces at all. There isn't even a reasonably priced option to upgrade for a basic interior wipe-down, which is baffling at this price point. For context, my car is impeccably maintained, washed weekly, completely emptied, and already clean -- this was not a trashed vehicle needing a full detail. It was ready for a simple, thorough wipe-down, which they simply don't do. If you care at all about a clean interior or properly cleaned windows, this is not the place. Easily one of the worst car wash experiences I've had in Los Angeles. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

This place is a joke! I have given them several chances over the years because their location is convenient... but no more! I pulled in today just to try and get a basic outside only wash... because I mean if your car is dirty is that not what a car wash is for?? I ask this dumb rhetorical question because today I was denied...because my car is dirty!! What in the actual F?! I realize my car is rather dirty atm, but it's literally dust and comes off quite easily with water... but today, I was told that they could not accept my car in this condition as it could harm other cars! There is no debris caked on my car or mud ... just dust and whatever your average dirty car looks like. The interior guys barely cleaned the dash and seats. Omitted wiping down the console. Inside vacuum was half-ass at best. They agreed to vacuuming all floors PLUS the back hatch are. Floors were only ok when done but the hatch are was not vacuumed at all. In fact it dirtier than when I took it there. They tried to suck me into a $149 service and now I'm glad I didn't. I've come here plenty of times with my Jeep and usually get the Gold wash. I know it won't fully clean the undercarriage, but this time it looked like nothing touched it at all--as if I paid for the basic wash. On top of that, Rafael wouldn't stop pushing me to upgrade even after I said no. When I called to complain, he was dismissive and kept repeating the same line about the Gold wash not covering the undercarriage. I get that--but I didn't even get what I paid for. I've been going here for 5 years, and l've never had a negative experience with the staff or the car wash itself. Most of the time, I go with the basic wash, which costs $18. I bring a couple of microfiber towels to dust off the dashboard and other surfaces. You get 5 minutes at the self-serve vac station, which is more than enough. The only time l've seen them enforce the 5-min limit is when it's really busy. I've gone through the car wash after off-roading, and it does a pretty good job of getting rid of all the dirt. They spray your car with a power washer at the beginning of the wash, but sometimes, when there's only one person working, they only spray one side of my truck. l've also had pollen spots that didn't come off completely. For the basic exterior wash, I'd give it a 3.5/5. I usually tip $3-5 to workers that wipe off the water at the end of the wash. (Make sure you open your door to hand them money instead of rolling down the window so you don't get streaks on your window.) When I return from snowboarding trips, I usually get the silver wash to clean the salt off the undercarriage of my truck. They do a better job removing the pollen spots from the exterior, the tires look great, I would give exterior 4/5. They do a decent job vacuuming the mats and cleaning the console. For the interior clean with the silver wash, l'd rate it a 3.5/5. I usually tip $5-7 for the silver wash. I purchased the interior detail package with a regular exterior wash as a birthday gift for a girl I was dating. They did an excellent job, and she was really happy with it. I'd give them a 5/5 for the interior detail. I tipped $30 for interior detail. read more

i hate writing bad reviews but this was such a disappointing experience. i paid $30 for a car wash after getting up-sold that i "needed" the wash above the one i initially requested... when i got in my car, there was obvious rocks on the floor, dust on the dash, a scuff on the inner door, dust on center console. when i asked about this, they said that wasn't included in the wash not sure what i paid $30 for? a drive through car wash and unfinished basic inside vacuum and wipe down. wouldn't recommend this spot :( read more

I think most people are only gonna rate a car wash when they have bad service so I wanted to make sure to rate them for their great service. It's cheap, fast, and good. I'm not trying to make a clunker look like a luxury car. I have a 2yo suv that I take care of so I'm just trying to keep it simple. Soap it up, wash it off, wipe it down. They do that and I tip em $5. Is my seat moved sometimes? Yes. Do they occasionally miss a spot? Yes. Do I get what I pay for? Also yes! If you want detail or have a car that's been run through hell and back? Maybe expect different results or pay for that extra service... Also be nice and you will have niceness returned. read more

Great car wash! The guys always do a good job making my car squeeky clean again, there's free Starbucks coffee inside, and you can sit and relax under the shade while your car is ready. However the #1 reason I come here is because of TRACY at the cashier. This lovely woman always brightens up my day with her smile and personable, cheerful service. First time at this car wash and I was disappointed. The staff was friendly and polite but that's not why I went. The inside of my car was vacuumed in certain places. This was obvious from the areas that were missed and were still dirty. My hood got messed up because they forced my windshield wiper to come up. You cannot do this on my car!!! You have to open the hood then lift the wipers. Uhhh so upset about this. It's all I see when I'm diving. My poor hood paint missing on the edge. Then my tires and inside of the car, on the floor looked exactly as it did when I came in. It's so upsetting paying for a service and then no one can deliver on it. read more

Good thing they offer a 48 hour rain check :) Been coming to this car wash for years, it's just my go to place and I ain't changing it. Always nice to see the same faces and get that extra attention to detail. Reasonably priced, especially if you have a coupon, experienced staff and fairly quick. They offer complimentary coffee and cookies, there's a little gift shop with trinkets, drinks, car accessories & snacks, inside & outside seating, bathrooms,and payment activated massage chairs if you're really in that mood. Once done and flag you down, I usually look it over and politely ask for some extra tlc in spots they may have missed. They are always willing to accommodate. read more

It does the job. It's fast, puts water and soap on the car, and there's a brief drying process. I had a lot of water marks left on the car. In a way, it looked dirtier after the wash than it did after the rain. It's a great place for an express wash if you haven't had a car wash in months. Get a rinse here and go to a higher quality car wash location for a thorough job. read more
