I tried this car wash since it was near my workplace and my experience here was solid. This is an automatic carwash where you just sit and let the machines wash your car. They also have self-serve vacuums as well. Once The best part about this spot is the pricing, which is around $17-$18 for unlimited standard washes. You can even do a monthly trial with this pricing for the highest tier of wash. However, this is a smaller car wash with a lot of customers so you may have to wait a bit in line to get your car washed and even more so for the vacuums which are limited. When I washed my car here for the first time, it did leave some soapy residue on my car, but most car washes I've been to do that anyways. The staff here seem pretty good at managing the car wash and directing/guiding the cars since the place is so small. Overall, a solid spot for a cheaper car wash service in West LA. read more

Aaron Everything I stated is a fact! I'm not the only one saying this here. I made a suggestion about a courtesy wipe down so our cars don't streak in this hot weather. Maybe the vacuums should be on a timer since no one abides by the posted signs. My review was fair and accurate, despite your offended perception of it! EVERY time I come here there's a long line and so many cars waiting for the vacuums! I went again yesterday and told the woman working there that I would likely be canceling my membership if I had to wait to use the vacuums again. She was somewhat dismissive and told me the owner/manager told her not to enforce the 5 minute rule with customers. As usual, I had to wait again along with others to vacuum,I had to get out and dry my car while I waited because I didn't want streaks. Since this is a reoccurring issue, employees should offer to wipe the cars down while we wait! I had to ask the attendant to tape my rear wiper down, as they do at other car washes (not the first time) The exit from the wash is very tight also and my car doesn't really get clean. I don't think I will continue my membership here. Nothing changes. read more

Olympic Speedwash offers fair pricing for several car wash options (basic, super, premium), but the biggest win of this location is vacuums, which are included in the cost of the car wash. The one downside -- this is a small-ish location, and there are about 6-7 vacuum stalls. The car wash is a faster process than the vacuuming, so there is almost always a wait to use the vacuums, which creates a small traffic jam in the already small parking lot. read more

11:5am on Thursday October 8th, after waiting in line for 10 minutes when you get to the counter to pay they let you know that the top brush isn't working and it only washes the side of your car, I asked him why didn't they tell me that before I get into line Absolutely ridiculous read more

The car wash actually does a quite good job when you drive your car through it - better than any other similar drive-thru wash I've visited. (I believe it is less expensive, too.) The staff are friendly and helpful. I bought a chamois from them for $1.00 and once my car is washed I just wipe down the windows to get them completely dry and off I go. read more

I use this car wash. It's close to my house and convenient. It gets the stuck yellow stuff off the paint. The people that work there are very nice and helpful. The line moves quickly. These are the things I care about because my time is important. The vacuum situation usually has a wait. I take care of that at home. The price is good with no pricey tips. It fits my needs perfectly. read more

It's hard to get onto the tracks since you have to turn sharply left to get into the actual car wash. There are still a bunch of stains/marks after the wash whereas other drive thru car washes don't do that. There is a crazy line almost always. The vacuums have never had a free spot. Cars have almost hit me coming out of the actual car wash multiple times due to the timing of the tracks and the light. Haven't seen staff around most of the time to help monitor the situation but when they are they seem to not be paying attention. If you pull in from the side street Corinth ave, they don't let you turn into the car wash and expect you to drive out onto Olympic to get in the back of the line since that's how far back the line goes. This is ridiculous if you are always coming from the direction of Corinth. They should at least let you wait to turn in on Corinth instead of forcing you to drive out onto Olympic, make a u turn, wait in line which is out onto Olympic and potentially get rear ended by the speeders on Olympic that are NOT expecting a random bunch of cars on Olympic to be completely stopped. This set up is not even safe. No one is trying to "cut" the line, just trying not to get hit having to wait out on a super busy street. read more

This might be the worst car wash I have ever been to. The space doesn't allow for an efficient car wash. It's $15 for a "5 minutes express car wash". Once you get out of the car wash, the line for about 6 spaces of the vacuum blocks both the entrance and exit. First time here and will never be back. read more

It was another good carwash at Olympic Speedwash! I was here recently & all went well. The wash doesn't take long & I used the vacuum for the front & back seats. It really doesn't take long to do the vacuuming. The staff at Olympic Speedwash are super pleasant & helpful. They work hard in keeping the area clean & spotless. All in all, another grea experience at Olympic Speedwash read more

Literally a joke of a Car Wash...owner tells employee they can't wash corvettes anymore because of 1 customer. It's a car not a spaceship

Line moves fast to wash your car, but you will literally be waiting at least 20 minutes to vacuum your car because people don't respect the 5 minute wait time and decided to do a deep clean and dry every little drop of water with a tissue it seems or they take the air mister and dry each drop of water off of the car Might help to get rid of that option or to ask people to not dry their car in the vacuum station ‍ read more

Editing my original review to reflect the wonderful customer service provided by Aaron. He was open to hearing the details of what went wrong and clarified that they do offer complimentary rewashes if the car does not come out clean enough. He apologized for the poor service I received and offered me a generous courtesy make good. I will definitely be giving them another chance. Thank you again, Aaron! I've been to this car wash a few times and have always been pleased. A couple of times my car has been extra dirty and hasn't come out completely clean. They have always let me run my car through again with no issue. Today I went there and before I even drove through, the man working the machine told me I would have to pay twice if I wanted to run my car through twice. I told him that my car is unusually dirty and it's not my fault if their machine can't always clean it completely. He didn't care. I explained that I've never had an issue in the past. He still didn't care. He told me that it's not fair to the people who have the monthly unlimited membership. HUH?! I left without going through the wash and will not be returning. read more

They blast the most obnoxious marketing music jingle while you're trying to vacuum your car. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Also, they don't take Apple Pay, which is beyond stupid. I won't be back. read more

It is worth having the subscription, I pay $35 (first month is free) and you have unlimited car washes a month. If you show after work hours the line is extremely long. Super tip Is enter through Olympic if you truly to enter through the side street the end of the line is on Olympic - goodluck trying to enter cuz technically your cutting the line. read more

I think the car wash itself is great. However, there needs to be a time limit and monitoring of the vaccum services. The last two times I've gone for a car wash, there's always a LONG line for the vaccums, and it blocks cars from trying to leave/enter the lot. I understand the vacuum service is free, but there is long line of car leaving the wash that need the service too but have to end up leaving (myself, included) because other customers take way too long. There is sometimes an employee outside guiding cars to which spot to go to, but they need to make this somehow more efficient and equitable for other customers. read more

i've had a membership for Speedwash since the $19.99/mnth days and I'm just now finding out that if you have it, you can go to any one of their various locations. BIG PLUS. this location is pretty quick - but i also got there at the perfect time. by the time i was exiting the wash the line was out the lot. it's fairly small, if it's busy you'll be waiting a bit to vacuum your ride. wash was okay - doesn't really get the big spots with dirt and debris that might be a couple days old. the vacuum suction was mid - i feel like the one at their Silverlake location is stronger. read more

Olympic Speedwash - Car Wash Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Yesterday I came to this establishment to wash my mom's car as part of her Mother's Day treatment, and I had such a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the employees were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. But what really stood out was how kind everyone was when I accidentally locked myself out of my mom's car. The one lady working there generously let me use her phone so I could call my husband and get AAA on the way. While I was waiting and sitting on the curb, one of the male employees kindly brought me a chair to sit in. I was even offered bottled water a couple of times by the employees. It was around 6:30-7:00 PM, so it wasn't even hot outside, but the thoughtful gestures truly meant a lot to me. On top of the amazing customer service, this place is very efficient, and their vacuum cleaners work great! I especially love the extra narrow nozzle attachment that makes it easy to vacuum between the seats. They also sell towels for just $1 if you need one. This business deserves consistent five-star reviews. Thank you again to everyone who helped me and made a stressful situation so much easier! read more

Do you like wasting your time? Do you like hand washing your car? Do you like paying for a towel to hand wash your car after paying for a car wash? If you answered yes to any of those questions then I highly recommend coming here! For the rest of us, don't waste your time coming here--because you'll waste a LOT of it. How much time? Well first you'll wait in a very long line to go through the car wash. Then after going through the very short car wash, it won't wash anything off your car. You now have the honor of paying for a towel and handwashing your car yourself. Woo hoo! Wait. "Didn't I just pay for a car wash?" You ask incredulously. Yep, but it doesn't wash your car. Typically it takes two attempts for anything substantial to happen. And they won't let you go through a second time. Instead they tell you to open your wallet and put a little elbow grease into it. Which you could've done at home. Yay! I also enjoy paying for services I could've completed at home. That's the end of the fun part of this review. The rest of this is going to be context as the astute will have noticed this is my third review. Read on only for context. It all started one fateful night when I came here to wash my car using the coupon they had generously given me after I was dissatisfied with my last washing serval months ago where they wouldn't let me go through the tunnel one more time and insisted I pay a second time. I went in expecting to use my coupons. They gave me two. However, upon arrival I was informed that the coupons were expired. Very funny, I know. I was also laughing. Luckily, the guy manning the pay machine was cool and said he'd honor one of the coupons. I genuinely appreciate that he did that. I went through the tunnel, they forgot to fold in my mirrors so they were being whipped all over the place, and lo and behold: the car was not clean. There was bird poop and other stuff still on the car. Just like old times. I asked if I could run her through again. The other attendant said no. He told me to buy a towel and give it the ole elbow grease. He then wildly told me that he knew about me. I stared at him. I then pointed out that I was content never coming back to this establishment and that the manager had asked me to change the review and encouraged my return. So here I was. And yet, repeat it with me: Nothing. Ever. Changes. I talked to the first guy and he was cool again and gave me a towel free of charge. I then spent probably the better part of an hour to an hour and half handwashing my car. Sadly this is where the fun ends. The review is complete. I recommend you stay far, far away from this establishment. There's a reason they have a 3.7/5 and are dropping like a rock. Listen to the bad reviews, they're very real. read more

Yes the line is long, yes it's awkward to wait for the vacuums and air dryers, yes the wash will not remove all bird poop or dead bugs, particularly on your windshield and bumper. However, for $15-$30 per wash depending on which option you select, it's hard to beat the deal. Just bring a towel to wipe off some stuff that didn't come off. You'll walk away with a shiny car and a clean floor. Pretty good deal for a maintenance wash, and you can get it detailed when you want it perfect. read more

Employees were fantastic! Very helpful and attentive. Car wash has good vacuums. And the wash itself is perfect.

They lowered their monthly subscription rate which is a plus but a huge pain point is still the vacuum area. I've noticed cars taking 20-30 mins in the vacuum area today, people sitting in their cars on their phone, or brining personal cleaning supplies to clean the interior of the car or their windows instead of using the vacuums. A couple cars in line left out of frustration. I think management needs to make the sign with the suggested 5 min time limit more noticeable. read more

This place always has a long line and it doesn't have the most powerful washing machine because there's definitely still some stuff stuck on my car sometimes but I guess it is the job for $17 unlimited per month.. be prepared to wait 30+ minutes every time you come here though so probably don't do the monthly subscription if you don't have 30 minutes to waste every time you wanna get your car washed... if you wanna vacuum your car You'll have to wait for that as well afterwards which also takes an undisclosed amount of time because you never know when someone's gonna be done vacuuming their car and they only have five vacuums available.... Olympic Speedwash - Car Wash Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I was pretty disappointed with the service, especially for the $25 price. The drive-through wash didn't even remove all of the dirt from my car, and afterward we had to wait for a spot just to use the vacuums. To make matters worse, the car was left with noticeable water stains. For $25, I expected a much better wash and overall experience. Unfortunately, I don't feel like it was worth the price. read more

I have used this car wash many times and have no complaints about the equipment or the staff at the car wash. The inconsiderate people who spend forever at the finishing area do not know how to be polite enough to only spend 5 minutes. I went here regularly for a few months because their membership was $19.99/month, but I have cancelled and will never come back for a few reasons: 1) They have increased the membership pricing - will likely help decrease the wait that extends into the main street but -- (read on) 2) My car was never truly washed and had to take it to a detailer who would hand wash for the same price 3) There were many times no employee was at the pay station or to help the flow of traffic for the vacuums (people cutting other cars yikes) Sure, there aren't a lot of car washes in LA so maybe you'll settle here because it's close but just know you will be wasting your time and money! read more

It's fast, I'll say that. Literally came out dirty still. Barely touched the back of the car at all. Back window still dirty, bright work not at all cleaned. Free vacuums were a nice draw, too bad there are way too few, no apparent time limit and they seemed unconcerned that people were basically camped out doing their own self-detailing while others waited. $29 bucks to have basically a half-a$$ wash. Live and learn. read more

I got the $17 single wash and it was ok, it did what I needed to do. It is a very cramped small lot for the amount of cars going through. It's a tight turn into the lot and also another tight turn to get into the wash. There's only about 6-7 vacuums and not much space for cars to wait for one so then cars end up blocking the entrance/exit (once they run out of space for cars to wait for a spot to open up you just need to leave). People are fully detailing their cars in the vacuum spots and can be occupying a vacuum space for a very long time, there are signs asking for customers to be courteous but no enforcement. If they can hand out handheld vacuums for customers waiting to help move things along that could be helpful. There needs to be a better system of enforcing the time limit policy for the vacuums as unfortunately people will ignore a sign. I skipped the vacuum as I didn't want to be sitting in that small lot for 30-40 mins, it's not very speedy if you need to wait around that long. Felt like i didn't get the value out of the wash completely due to that. read more

Decent high speed wash takes less than five minutes to run through 1776 a month for the rest of the year for unlimited washes can't beat it.

Quick wash yes, but yellow spots and dirt remain there after wash, just don't expect too much from a quick wash

Had a wonderful experience today at this carwash. This team is attentive and kind. It was fast and effective. Would definitely recommend.

I was nearly involved in a three-car pileup that resulted in damage to my doors. In this car wash, vehicles are spaced close together track just to move the line faster, which is risky when there is zero staff monitoring the tunnel. While I was still being pushed forward by the track, the car in front of me actually came off the tracks (they took their car out of neutral too soon) and I was headed directly into them. I was laying on my horn the entire time, but since no one was watching or listening to hit the emergency stop, I was forced to first brake and then accelerate off the track to avoid a collision in both the front and back from the person behind me. It was during this evasive maneuver that the wash equipment scratched my car. This entire ordeal could have been prevented if they had simply spaced the vehicles properly or had an attendant actually watching the process. I reached out to the manager to address the repair costs for these scratches but did not get a response. I highly recommend going to a one-at-a-time wash where you aren't at the mercy of an unmonitored track system because this place is completely unresponsive when their negligence causes you a loss. read more
