I reached out to Kerry as I planned a trip to New Orleans, one of the places I love to visit most in the world. I hoped this trip would be the best yet as I planned a surprise proposal to my now-fiance (spoiler alert: yes, she said yes!) under the grand live oaks in New Orleans. I hoped Kerry would help us capture the special afternoon with a few of her photographs. Simply, Kerry was a star. In the planning process, she was supportive and patient counsel, always thoughtfully contributing but letting me make the final choices. On the big day, she was not only a complete professional but also felt like an invested friend who we'd known for years. For example, she brought along her friend and dog as "decoys" to photograph as we walked by, and took a final photograph of us as we walked away, long after we (thought we) parted ways. In days, she sent a few that she loved as a taste of what was to come, and before we got back home to California, she delivered 150+ stunning photos to us. There were several times Greg set aside his camera to fix what the wedding planner messed up, and still managed to grab his camera in time to get the perfect photos. My husband and I recently moved to the area with our infant son in tow. Even in the midst of a big…read moremove, I was eager to make sure we were capturing milestones and taking time to enjoy this time with our little boy. So I booked a photography session with Alexandra. Working with her was great! We communicated via email and phone, setting up the right time and location for our photo shoot. On the day of, I brought some props that I wanted included, and she came prepared with her own bucket of goodies. She worked really well with our little boy, and it was clear that she was familiar with working with babies. We went through a variety of poses, all while keeping our normally finicky baby entertained - he never had a chance to get antsy because we were putting him in a variety of creative poses and holds. The turnaround for the photos was incredibly fast, and we were so excited to see the finished product. The photos looked great, and I love that we have digital files so we can print them in a variety of formats. We are looking forward to working with Alexandra again in the future!
