Our Story Be Seen Therapy started because I was tired of watching smart, capable women suffer in silence. For over 20 years, I've worked with high-achieving moms who look perfect but are secretly drowning. They come expecting to talk about their childhood for years, but what they need is someone who gets that their anxiety lives in their body, not just their thoughts. That's why we specialize in somatic therapy and AEDP. Traditional talk therapy helps you understand your patterns. Somatic therapy helps your nervous system actually change them. We don't just want you to cope better. We want you to feel at home in your own body again. Our philosophy is simple: You're not broken, you're stuck in survival mode. Your perfectionism and people-pleasing aren't flaws but strategies that kept you safe when you were younger but now exhaust you. We believe therapy should feel like relief, not another task. That's why we offer evening and weekend appointments and focus on creating lasting change.

I started Be Seen Therapy NJ because I kept meeting accomplished women who were exhausted from looking like they had it all together on the outside. On the inside: anxiety, self-doubt, and the constant fear of being exposed as "not enough." I get it. As a therapist with over 20 years of experience, I've learned that traditional talk therapy often misses what's happening in the body. That's why we use somatic and trauma-informed approaches to help you reconnect with yourself not just understand your patterns, but actually feel different.
