They offer a course of sessions including super high speed sun tanning beds that are not beds at all but stand up booths, these only need a small exposure at a time (10 mins) so you will not need to lay there endlessly like the traditional ones. The costs range depending on the strength of the bed ie from 50p per minute upwards. You can also buy sun tanning creams here to take home or better still, have someone apply the treatment for you.

I had a wonderful spa day at Bannatyne's this week. I had a massage late in the afternoon, but a…read morespa day gives you access to all the facilities for the whole day. So, in the morning I went to the gym, which has a great range of equipment. It was nice and clean and bright, and I enjoyed my work out. The rest of the day I spent in the spa area, the pool was a good size, not really big enough for an exercise type swim, but fine for a relaxing one. The jacuzzi, steam room and sauna where all great, and the loungers round the pool were comfy. Before my massage I spent some time on the heated 'sunbeds' in the treatment area, they're very nice! They'll get your muscles nice and relaxed before your massage! I had the bamboo massage which was great. The therapist didn't check with me before hand so I almost ended up having a Swedish. The massage was great, nice and firm, and really relaxing. Therapist was always checking I was ok with the pressure which was good. Had an awesome day, will definitely be back.

When I visited and was told the price after my treatment i was shocked to find out they wanted over 50% more than originally quoted!!! I was told by them there was nothing they could and that I should speak to the manager/owner, Aga. At no point did they offer to call her for me, but gave me a mobile number to call her on from my mobile. I called Aga and she said this is not the first time that there has been a misunderstanding and after a long discussion she offered me two products as an apology. I said I had no use for any products and wanted a fair price on what was originally quoted to me. I ended up paying the hugely inflated price (without the products) and walked out of there knowing that I would never go back there again! I live locally and was looking for a hair salon that I could use on a regular basis unfortunately Malibu in Walthamstow is not going to be the hairdressers I use again. On another point during the time spent in the salon it was quite annoying that whilst the colour was being applied to my hair, Marta had a whole conversation with her colleague in Polish!
