While it was hard at first to leave my son, and he cried for about two weeks at drop off (all normal) now when I pick him up there are days he doesn't want to go home because he is having fun!

Leidy and Fatima are amazing; they treat each child like one of their own. My son grew an attachment to both of them that even after he moved on to a regular school setting, he still asks for them. They speak English and Spanish, giving a bi lingual aspect for the children. They have an app for phones where you get updates on how your child's day is going, what they are eating, pics of the day and times of when everything is happening. If anything were to happen (our son not feeling well, possible incidents with other kids), Leidy was prompt in contacting us to let us know. She was open in scheduling times to meet whenever we wanted time for face to face updates and to talk about our son's progress. They make their food fresh daily for the kids (breakfast and lunch). They would do different activities like kiddy work out, planting, sprinklers in nice weather, to mix things up and give the children different experiences. I visited what felt like every daycare in Queens. Ones that were highly recommended by friends, or on Yelp. I couldn't find one place I would even consider, and I didn't think I would ever find a place I would be comfortable leaving my son. Then I met Leidy, she is the warmest, most caring person I have ever met. Immediately you can feel how much all the women who work here care for the children. They soothe my son when he is tired, cranky, or sad. They serve home-cooked meals for breakfast and lunch (snacks are also included). This daycare is bright, clean, and inviting. They are extremely hygienic, the staff and children wash their hands several times a day. Every surface that can be sanitized is, on a daily basis. There is an app you can download and they update you all day long on every detail of your child's day. It's amazing. They celebrate all of the major holidays, as well as the children's birthdays. They have a private backyard, weather permitting, the children go out every day. BBB has really become a home away from home for my son, I trust them implicitly. So much so, that now my youngest is also attending. I could go on and on, heaping praise on BBB, but I dont't want to be TOO long winded :-) In summation, I am a picky control freak, and this place makes me so happy. The school requested $200 for security deposit and key fob deposit ($20/each). I paid $260 in total. After my daughter graduated, I returned the key fobs and asking for refund. The lady who works at the front told me that they will contact me. Long story short it never happened. I went there couple times but they always just ask me to wait. Finally I got a call from Dr. Shell by end of September 2024, instead of letting me know how can I get the money back, she spend the time explaining the problem with the system to me and told me that's why I can't get the money back. I was so confused, if there is a system problem, isn't it your job to fix it? She said she will call me back after two weeks to let me know the results and I never received any call back from them. I tried so many times to call or visit in person. I know $260 is not a big amount but it's my money. I don't understand why is it so difficult to just get my money back. The teachers there are nice but staff are horrible. Especially the Assistant Director. She is very impatient and also full of attitude. There was once that she is kept yelling that I tried to ask her to clam down. Until I said there is a camera you know that right? She finally calm and stop yelling it was happened at the front desk. She was even once hung up the phone on my husband. I don't know if I can get the money back but feel I should share my experience at least, hopefully it won't happen on other people.

The teachers and staff are super friendly, patient and loving. Special thanks to Ms Gloria who is always great at communication of all the needs & concerns we have! We love you, Ms Gloria! They send the pictures and daily reports (with potty time) every day, which is super helpful for first-time parents! And they even helped potty training for the kids (thank god!). During Covid, there are very strict Covid protocols in place (mask mandate, cleaning, no parents at the class room, etc). As someone who is more cautious and still doesn't feel comfortable with indoor dining with mask off, I trust Ms Gloria and teachers at Kiddie since they follow the Covid protocols very well. Now that my kid has graduated from Kiddie, I am planning to send her back during future summer/winter breaks. I will definitely recommend to my family and friends as well!
