I didn't realize they had out of state and in-state deposit slips that you had to fill out. When I approached the counter I was met by another cattish women that was sure to remind me of that again. If you don't live right next to the bank then you're SOL.. they have two locations right next to each other by mundelien and one more or so somewhere on the southside. If you have to go to the bank it's a long trip and a hassle. Also if you're living paycheck to paycheck expect to get screwed by this bank repeatedly. They'll allow your account t to go negative if a business is trying to take out cash but there's not enough funds. But then a day later they "return" (take back) that cash back so the payment that the allowed your account to go negative over is still due and now you have a bunch of fees from the bank. Even though they said all you'd have to do is pay back the negative amount. Another thing! **Probably most important** For some reason THIS BANK is never able to help you out with any disputes. You call them right away when you see the pending charge. They told me I have to wait until it's no longer pending and to call back then to start a dispute. I call then and they give you other reasons why they can't help you. And they do this kind of stuff all the time. Unfortunately I have my direct deposit and a bunch of other accounts linked to that account. As soon as I start another account at a better bank and move ever over there I'm canceling this account ASAP. Or I might leave it open with two cents in it and never use their services

The employees at this location have been consistently professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient for all our banking needs, whether it was for simple daily savings and checking account transactions or matters pertaining to family trust accounts! This location is also physically and aesthetically pleasant to visit; very professional inside but still with a nice homey feel to it! If they also sold books and had a Starbucks Coffee inside, they could be a Barnes & Noble! I am not surprised that this location has successfully thrived all these years!

We called 2 other PNC locations (Elk Grove and the one on Barrington Td). We were told that these locations have no interest is going to an only atm facility. That this is something that PNC does prior to closing the involved location and that PNC is in the process of closing several locations. DONT bother with this location any longer. We also called Chase and another major bank and BOTH timed us that they have no intention of eliminating their tellers. The Personal Banker that "assisted" me, Mr. G. Swatch, was able to finalize my business but insisted on making the Cashiers Check payable to my closed business. He knew I no longer had a business account and insisted he MUST make the check payable in the business name. I asked, repeatedly, for him to make it in my name as I was the owner, signer and only name on the account. Of course no other bank could negotiate the check until I went into another 5/3 bank where the manager reopened my account, deposited the check and cut me a replacement, IN MY NAME, the next day. Mr. Swatch was completely UNHELPFUL and seemed to want to cause trouble for me. He most certainly needs retraining! My experience, my opinion. I would seriously think before doing any banking at this location until retraining and changes in operation happen!

I mistakenly accepted the Covid relief option to miss 3 payments and put them to the back of my mortgage. Little did I know this was signing a deal with the devil. I am now held hostage. I am attempting to refinance with my credit union and I was told I needed to pay the deferred balance prior to refinancing, I am fine with that. I gave BOA my account information twice to withdrawal the monies to pay off the deferred balance, for some reason I'm told they couldn't access my account, yet they ere able to deposit and withdraw .51 from my account. SO... I just sent BOA the amount owed for the deferred balance only to find out they don't know how to allocate the funds correctly. It's now been over 4 weeks, calls to BOA every 3 days and I'm still waiting for this to be taken care of. I have sent them the money over 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting to have the funds applied correctly so I can refinance. I've never been late on a payment and have always been an excellent customer since 2014.
