They told me that they didn't cut me off of the wet stuff, but instead I should call a plumber, there was a leak that led to someone who came and shut the water off. I called Tomsett early in the morning, and explained the problem. They said that they had a job in Aransas Pass, but this didn't sound like a big job, so they could take care of it immediately. Within minutes, they were on the job. They diagnosed the problem, let me know what was happening, what it was going to take to fix it. We discussed the options on how to fix it, and Tomsett made some recommendations. We immediately agreed, and the plumber made a small cut in the side of the wall to facilitate fixing the pipes, and had everything sealed up and fixed quickly. Chris was very good at what he does. I think it's a husband and wife team who make all this plumbing magic work. Their rates were fair, and their response time was immediate, which was greatly, greatly appreciated. These guys are my new plumbers!

He is thorough, efficient, and cleans up when he is done. I was a little concerned where the cost would end up on a time and materials job, but it was a fair price for the work done. The only issue I had was the that their answering service did not relay my message, so I had to call back the next day to set the appointment. I cannot vouch for their other plumbers, but JD is great and I will use him for any job that I can't handle.

I gave them $50 for the diagnostic fee and sent them on there way. It's amazing to me that companies like this try to charge people outrageous prices for something so simple. I can purchase the tools and parts for less than $70 and watch a Youtube video and do it myself! I was willing to pay $150 just so I didn't have to do it, but not "$400"! Even after the $50 diagnoptic fee, I can still purchase parts and tools and do the job myself and sill be under my $150 thinking!!!
