I have a business account with another bank. I got a check from that bank and mobile deposited the…read moresaid check of $2500.00. They put a hold on The check claiming it was fraudulent, which they never called me to tell me. They email my husband 3 days after i deposit it. I personally took the check to the branch in Nags Head. The Associate, Tara, told me she had to verify the check with the other bank and would call me back the next day. And took my number. The next day, no call. I called them and Tara told me she was waiting for me to call her with my information, from my other bank. They want to know how much was in that account and if how much would be after the check. I call the other bank and they told me they needed PNC to call and verify the check. I called Tara and told her she needed to call, gave her the number and which option to choose. Did not hear back from her. I called back and she told me it was still on hold after she talked to my other bank and verify it. She told told me customer service would be calling me. They did. And after asking for the same information needed all my information from my other bank account number and transactions from that account. It would be released. I said no, I would not give it. They spoke to the other bank and it was verified. This was on a Friday afternoon. Day 5 would be a Saturday. They will not release it to my account at pnc til Monday. So as of Monday I will be closing all of my accounts at PNC. That is 7 days after depositing.

He wanted to close his Money Market account, and put funds into the bank that his other accounts are in and the bank is closer to his home. The lady, Cynthia B, that he was assigned to was a hour late for the appointment, held up in road construction, she was very rude, fast talker, I explained everything she said in a slower easier form for him to understand. She dropped the papers for him to sign in front of him, I went over each page with him. She said a check would be mailed to him, this is a pretty big sum of money, I asked can it be sent FedX so there would be tracking, she said, very nasty, it can, there is a $25 fee for it, I said that's perfectly fine. I requested a copy of the paperwork, she stomps to the copier, brings copies back and again drops them on the table in front of him. I'm usually an understanding person when it comes to customer service, it is by far the hardest job, I do believe your employee needs to be more patient, slow down her talking, and thoroughly go over whatever process is taking place with everyone especially older people.
