It is the only location I have ever had a problem depositing money without an ID. Every other location doesn't require this, but for some reason this one does. I called customer service after leaving and they confirmed with me that it is not required, but preferred. Upon telling the manager that she told me that the information I got from customer service was incorrect. So I can't put in $50 without an ID, but I can withdraw $50 without an ID. That is the most backwards thing I have ever heard of. On top of them quote "following the rules" they are also extremely rude. I will never go to this location ever again and I'm actually closing all of my accounts. Thanks for nothing Virginia credit union!

The only drawback is that they are often *very* busy being the only branch location adjacent to Fort Lee. I also wish they participated in share branching. They also have branches in other locations I tend to frequent in my travels, such as Saratoga Springs. Yey for me. They are quick to spot any potential fraudulent activity and call and they have been super helpful in resolving issues over the phone. Their customer service is twenty four seven and their call centers are HERE, in the United States, not The Philippines, India, etc. They may have accents and they may think I have an accent but they are empowered to help address problems and they understand how we communicate. They do not feel me to death with stupid charges--heck, they even refund many of my atm fees. I am told their home loan rates are among the very best but they are slow. I am very pleased with NAVY FCU.

We said, "Why don't you just take the credit from one card as a cash advance, and put it on the other card immediately?" They said, "Oh, but then we'd have to to charge you 3% of the amount" "What, on drawing a POSITIVE account balance?" "Yes!" Locations closing down all over the Greater Richmond area, and service becoming worse by the day. This bank will be gone in a few more years -- don't waste your time. One recent example: waiting ten minutes to be served in the drive thru at the Colonial Heights location behind another customer. Only to have the teller shut the window in my face when I pulled up and tell me that I had arrived after closing. A bald faced lie. Still waiting for a response to my email or an explanation from the manager. I doubt that I will get one.
