Having previously remodeled 6 homes in the SF Bay area we were thrilled to find a Tucson contractor who knows their business, and takes genuine pride in the quality of their work and their sub contractor's work. Our contractor decision was made during the design phase of our remodel which enabled us to make cost effective construction decisions from the beginning. We were impressed with Karl's fair pricing and the level of detail outlined in his budget/bid. Creating a detailed budget/scope of work with Karl enabled us to keep our change orders to a minimum - thus our remodel was on time and within our budget. Remodeling, or any kind of renovation, (whether big or small) can be very stressful- but having Karl as our contractor really helped alleviate the majority of our concerns. We were and continue to be absolutely delighted with the outcome and experience of our remodel and will definitely be calling Holland Construction for any future renovation needs we may have.

Hidden beneath layers of ancient asphalt mastic, there was no dominant level to work from-- so Gabriel drew from his knowledge and skills to craft his own. He and Carmelo then hand-ground down 3 medium-size rooms to reveal the slabs beneath, then hand-floated several layers of epoxy concrete over all. I was so amazed and happy, I told them they could call it a job. Gabriel insisted, no, they weren't done yet. I chose a dove-gray color coat, which he applied before the final texture and clear coats. All this in 2-1/2 days. Wow! Just WOW. Thank you SO much, TEAM Hastings! - Linda V.
