Check-in was fine. Although I had already checked in via the app, I stopped by the front desk to pick up a physical key, which I usually do as a backup. As someone relatively new to Hilton Garden Inn, I asked whether any complimentary upgrades were available. The response I received, something about water in the room, was a bit confusing and didn't clearly address the question. Later, when we left the room with recyclable bottles, I asked the same front desk staff member about recycling options. Again, the response was unclear and I was directed toward a water fountain, which didn't answer the question. I shared this experience with the general manager, Veronica, who was receptive and professional. She explained that the property does not have recycling options and said she would address this with management and use the situation as a coaching opportunity to improve staff communication and customer engagement. The room itself was fine and met expectations, with no major issues. It's also worth noting that the hotel does not have suites--only standard and accessible rooms--so upgrades should not be expected, as confirmed by the general manager. Overall, a decent stay, and I appreciate management's willingness to listen and improve. Hopefully, communication will be smoother on future visits.

No really complaints there. They have a lot of parking stall so it shouldn't run out. They're walking distant to a bunch of restaurants and Bucee's is about 5 minutes away.

Maybe I should not write reviews when I'm emotional but here goes: it's a Sunday morning decided to grab a booking so I didn't have to book it across town after an event last night. I closed the blinds, turned off all my cell phone alarms and nestled into the high quality sheets and BAM! what the? Woke up to the sounds of two dogs barking. Wait this is a dream. No. is that in the room next to me? That's right you got it, I am sleeping in a dog friendly hotel. Good news is Rover can stay the night, but if you plan on sleeping in, maybe even just a wink, don't plan on it. You may be staying in a room next to Cujo and his brother. Omg no way. Ok, so I call downstairs to mention the dog barking. But. It continues. I decide to just get out. I mean, check out. So I spoke to the manager who is pleasant, but I'm in such a bad mood I Didn't even want to get breakfast. Definitely first world problem, but I strongly suggested that if a hotel guest is going to be placed to room next to a guest with dog said guest should be forewarned, at least. There was not even a sign that this dog friendly hotel. No dog treats in the lobby no nothing. Just the sound of two rabid sounding dogs. The Hyatt grounds are nice. It is in Baytown after all. If you your best friend is barking for Pete's sake , take them on a walk. They have pent up energy, unlike their owners do, for allowing them to bark as if their lives depended on it. Unacceptable 1/5. stars do not recommend unless you have behaved dogs.

The Baytown waters aren't glorious but if you sit long enough and look past the ugly it's actually pretty serene and relaxing. You get great views from the hotel in various angles. Our room had 2 huge comfy queen beds but one of the comforters was still dirty. We didn't complain though since we didn't find it until later in the evening and we were too tired. Room was spacious and we loved the dual shower heads. It's always a bonus when the water stays hot and water pressure is strong. Great gym with lots of cardio equipment even peloton bikes, free weights, kettle weights, bands, clean towels, free earphones and ice water. Oh abs they have sanitizer wipes. The pool is gigantic with a jacuzzi. Towels on deck. Plenty of seats. Cozy little outdoor section with rocking chairs, seats and games. We loved the big balancing Tetris and corn hole. Unfortunately the connect four wood has swollen so it was hard to play. I think it may be the humidity since it's made of wood. There's a little 24 market that helped me with my morning coffee. The room has a mini keurig style coffee pot but I have a hard time trusting hotel coffee pots, unfortunately. The gentleman at the register was very polite granted it was early. Overall, I had a wonderful time. Got to relax and get familiar with the ship water channels. We even stumbled across Sylvan Beach which was an awesome surprise. Definitely recommend this spot.

Everyone was super friendly. I didn't post any photos because there were a lot of other people posted theirs. My wife and I loved how the suites were decorated! It felt just like home! The room was also very clean and smelled very nice. We loved how the bed felt! It was super comfortable and the pillows and sheets were just right. The room was super quiet and you couldn't hear any road noise. The tv had a streaming option where you can sign in to your accounts and pickup where you left off. It signed you out automatically when you exited it. The breakfast in the morning down stairs was very good and tasty and the area was very clean. Thank you SpringHill Suites for an excellent hotel stay! Look forward to staying again! The ONLY negative thing I saw in the room was from the person that did the finish work around our suite with the caulk gun during construction did a very bad job and made a terrible mess of it. It was all over the sink and wall as well as the shower door and floor. I'm surprised it passed and wasn't seen by superintendent and made to fix it.... lol

Stunning Marriot Property!!…read more I had the pleasure of staying in this Marriot property during a recent trip to the area. I found this property on the BonVoy App as I was looking for a hotel in the area. The reviews were great and the price was right so I booked it. This is a great property right from my check-in in the modern and well-designed lobby and entrance area. I checked out other areas of this great new property and I have to say it was very impressive. My room was very large and spacious, divided into two main areas, the living room and the sleeping area. The bed was large and very comfortable with a wardrobe, a desk and a television. There are several USB and electrical outlets near the bed and on the desk. The desk itself has plenty of room to use your laptop comfortably. The wifi signal is strong and I had no problems connecting or staying connected. The living room area was fashionably decorated with high-end West Elm furniture. I had a coffee station with a small refrigerator and a microwave. The bathroom was bright, modern and very clean with TeaTree product in the shower. The hotel also had a good-sized fitness centre with modern exercise equipment. There were many different cardio machines to keep things interesting, as well as a corner with free weights and a cabled universal station. I was able to get a great workout in the gym. There is a heated indoor pool as well. The breakfast in the morning was very good, with several hot items, cereals, fresh fruits and fresh pastries. The servers at breakfast kept the food replenished and the breakfast clean. Although I was only here for one night, the hotel had given me a great impression at its a very modern and well-run hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you're in the Baytown area.
