I went to the ER with lightheadedness and shortness of breath. I saw the triage nurse. She said they'd take blood given my anemia. I waited 3.5 hours. Not called for a blood draw. I guess lightheadedness and shortness of breath puts you low on the triage list at Baystate ER. I left and will never return. read more

They have me waiting here constantly never being put on a heart monitor with kidney failure stage five so there's no longer proper care gor people on dialysis treatment who have high blood pressure with heart attack symptoms. Tried talking to patient relations and they just act like it's not there problem. read more

Mother waited in the ER for 12 hours! With a fever, in pain, and steadily getting worse. They couldn't care less.

quite literally the worst place to go! im still stuck here ive been here for nine hours im a type one diabetic who is being neglected practically because when a diabetic throws up it makes it so they cant keep their sugar levels up quality of care was absolute garbage and so many people are still waiting if i pass out or something happens to me something will be done and said no one should have to wait this long there was a elderly woman who i talked too who was here till eleven in the morning shes elderly and no one payed mind to her or gave her the attention and care she probably needed. do not come here! read more

They have the most messed up system for calling in to an office. You get a menu to walk through,…read morethent you are hold for a while - easily 20 minutes - before someone picks up...and it's not the office you want...it's some central number. This "operator" takes your message and then she/he contacts the office that you wanted and gives them your message. And then you wait for the office to call you back. Generally that doesn't happen until sometime after 5 pm, depending on how busy they are. And then if you miss the call, you have to call them back and go through the same call process as before (menu, hold, operator who takes message) and you are put at the end of the queue for being called back later. And repeat again, if necessary. It becomes an incredible waste of time. Maybe, it's intentional,and they want to discourage calls.

Dear Lord. If you like abuse, this is the place for you. My Primary "care" provider really seems…read moreto enjoy my suffering. Her name is Rhianna Lejoie and I can't say one nice thing about her. After dealing with her God complex and severe abuse, I contacted the office manager "Erin Cardinale". Erin is possibly the devil or maybe the vice devil. She made the situation 1000 times worse. I believe her to be a bad human being. I contacted Baystate customer services. They have a very nice young lady who writes down your complaints and submits them to Mount Olympus where the gods decide what to do about it. Then I got a form letter telling me that they're sorry I had a bad experience. Excuse me!!! You cannot speak to the decision makers. They do not call or contact you to hear what you have to say. It's a scam. I would rate the two individuals that I dealt with as well as the dominant culture of this office as: EVIL.

Emergency Department Care & HIPAA Concerns I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the care I received at the Emergency Department of Baystate Medical Center. I presented with concerning symptoms, including difficulty breathing and significant swelling, conditions that reasonably warrant prompt medical attention. Despite this, I was placed on a gurney in a hallway setting and left without any apparent urgency, monitoring, or appropriate level of concern from medical staff. Equally troubling is the complete lack of patient privacy. I was asked sensitive medical questions in an open hallway, within clear hearing distance of other patients and visitors. This raises serious concerns regarding compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and the protection of patient confidentiality. The environment did not allow for any reasonable expectation of privacy, which is both unacceptable and potentially in violation of federal regulations. The combination of delayed or indifferent care and the disregard for privacy created an experience that felt unsafe, undignified, and deeply concerning. No patient--especially one experiencing respiratory distress--should be made to feel ignored or exposed while seeking emergency medical attention. I request that this matter be reviewed thoroughly, including staff conduct, triage protocols, and adherence to HIPAA standards. I also expect a response outlining what corrective actions will be taken to prevent similar occurrences in the future. read more

I went there to visit my dying grandfather and my father asked the lady at the desk if we could have 5 people in the room and she said yes then me and my family went in the next day and the new lady there was giving us attitude and said we were not aloud to see are grandfather all together I'm disgusted with this hospital read more

The office is up elevator, to the right of optometry, like right next to it. I walked by it twice…read morebefore I noticed the door, lol. It was my first visit and it went fairly quick. There was a TV and magazines to keep you entertained until you were checked-in. Once they were ready for you, you were transferred to the waiting room inside. There were also magazines in there, as well as a play area for kids. There is a restroom in there, if you were looking for one like I was. I was later taken into a small room where they did my vitals. Once completed, I waited for my doctor in my designated room. The visit was quick and to the point. The doctor was extremely friendly. The one thing that I didn't really like was how thin the walls were, you could honestly hear everything that is going on in the next room. It made me feel a little uncomfortable. Aside from that, it was pleasant. Everyone was nice and helpful.
