INCREDIBLE SERVICE! Fast turnaround. Guitar sounds better than ever!…read more My boyfriend needed his Gretsch hollow body fixed and I've never had a guitar repaired in my life, so I had no idea what any of it was supposed to cost. Dropped the Gretsch off Monday afternoon. CJ texted me Tuesday morning with what he'd found, laid out two options with a price on each, and let me choose. No pressure, no upsell, none of that "we'll see what we find once we're in there" business. He had it finished by 1pm the same day, and he was leaving town that Thursday. He could easily have told me to wait until he got back and I'd have had no idea any different. $100 for the part, the labor, a setup, new strings and a cleaning. He sent me photos of it on the bench when he was done. The guitar sounds better than ever and my boyfriend is so excited. He says it's like "butter on my fingers". I figured I'd end up driving to Sarasota and waiting two weeks. Instead he's fifteen minutes from me in Bradenton and I had it back in a day.

At this point, I have paid a premium for the item. It is NOT rare nor is it high end...contrary. Upon getting it, I notice it's faulty. I contact them and they tell me I'd have paid more IF it was mint. But it's NOT mint...lol....so that's neither here nor there. Plus...I DID pay more than a fair price for this item. Then they tell me MOST old items like this have the same issue. Untrue. THEN they admit the issue descriptor was never used in their description. Or I'd have never bought. Now, they tell me their pics reveal the issue. You'd have to be an eagle to see this in the lousy pic they use. AND...I could have done better taking a more accurate pic. Finally, they passive aggressively offer to take it back...which they should...it was inaccurately advertised....but they want ME to eat shipping both ways. Not going to happen! I'll just leave scathing online reviews and keep the thing. Bad enough I have to drive it across town to post office.....I'm not paying for their blunders. On a poorly described item...that I paid top dollar for. Crooks.....never again! You've been warned, folks!

They had interest and offered to pay me and said I would receive a call for pickup from Clark. For a week I kept following up and finally got a note from Greg that the reason Clark didn't call was because plans had changed and they would not be picking it up. Apparently Clark didn't have the decency or integrity to let me know they would not be picking up the piano and with an upcoming house closing this was very upsetting. Thank goodness I spoke with The Piano Guys who have come for the piano. Pritchards Pianos is not recommended for their lack of integrity.

I have rented various equipment from them in the past and always had a positive experience. I have…read morefound Daniel to be the most knowledgeable about my projects and always directed me in the best way to get the job done. Over July 4th weekend I rented a concrete grinder and the vacuum at his direction to remove the thinset after the tile removal. I used the grinder as it was designed and only removed approximately 20 sq/ft of thinset before the wedge diamond head inserts wore out. The process was very slow but he let me know that in the beginning as this was an alternative to the chipping blade on the 30 pound hammer which I had just used last weekend to take out the tile. The grinder worked great until one of the blades wore down to nothing. The other 2 still had the diamond circle grinder areas in them. I reached out to them thru their website and left them a message to try and figure out where to get a new set of grinder blades to finish the job. They were closed until Monday bc of the holiday weekend but I tried anyway. I ended up renting another grinder from Lowe's rental and finished the job over the weekend. Monday morning when they opened I was there to return the grinder and vacuum and was met by Daniel. I stated let me help you unload it and he responded "doesn't seem like you are trying to help me at all". I began to try and explain what i went thru and what I could have done/happened. He started screaming and yelling at me calling me a liar and cussing me out in front of other customers. I continued to maintain my composure while attempting to explain to him that I looked for the replacement blades to replaces them and was unable to get them bc of the weekend. He continued to yell and curse me out. He asked " what you want a discount?" I said no not at all. I just wanted to know if the rotary part in the bottom which he refused to let me show him was bent and that's what caused the one pad to wear out and not the others. I truly have never been to treated this bad in my entire life by anyone. In the end he did discount the order 50% which I told him was not necessary, I am not sure why he did that. Completely embarrassing to stand there and be yelled and cursed at in front of other people while trying to work thru an issue with an adult throwing a tantrum. Never had an issue at Lowe's or Home Depot rental. Do yourself a favor and don't do business with these people.
