I love Bayside Folsom! If you're looking for a church to feel known and loved then Folsom is for you! I've been here for about 2 years and I've met so many people that now feel like family. The pastors are dedicated to giving sermons that are biblically correct and actually speak to me. Once you're here for a week you already feel like you belong. WE ARE FOLSOM FAM read more

After attending and looking up different churches in our area after we moved from Texas to California Bayside church in Folsom was the winner! Great pastors, preaching , worship. We have been attending for the past 2 years and I love it! Our family is so blessed to be apart of the Bayside church and love the heart they have for people. I have learned not to be judgmental and be more open minded to God's love for all people. I love the worship and that was an important part of me choosing this church. It's a God centered church with Jesus, family and community. Gods favor is here. read more

Great church with a powerful message! Brannen is an amazing pastor and he outdoes himself every time! I'm excited to go every time!

Went to church after Charlie's passing. Checked out BaySide. Pretty disappointed in how he framed this sermon... he took the opportunity to tell Christians, a group of people that were just shown the extent of how dehumanized they are, that they're the ones that should stop dehumanizing. What...? read more

after asking for help the receptionist laughed at asking. Wow. People need to give grace for after all this is a church. I have been looking for a church home and this will not be one for me. If this is who you have greeting people you may want to consider someone else. read more

This church and specifically the pastor Brannon Shortt has really helped me during a tough time in my life. I also love the other pastor Brian! Brannon's ability to deliver the message is by far the best I've ever seen. I genuinely look forward to his sermons and leave church each weekend feeling like I understood what was discussed, can put it into action, and I am enough. I think I really relate to him because he talks about his past and how he was and is not a perfect person. I find that incredibly refreshing in the church scene. The music is also fantastic! Such a talented group! read more

I've had the opportunity to get to know both co-lead pastors, Brannon and Brian, over the past year, and they are the real deal--true lovers of Jesus and people. When Brannon preaches, it's like being teleported back to biblical times--and there's a feeling of awakening, not just to better historical context, but also to relational and emotional context. There is both rich depth and rich humor in every sermon--many of which have brought me to tears (and I'm not an emotional person). There's no shying away from the hard questions and tough topics, which I love. My wife and I often marinate on and discuss Brannon's word throughout our Sunday and even into the week. Brian is as caring as a person can get. He is an excellent speaker and an incredible individual. You can tell when someone spends time with Jesus because they behave like Him. In one-on-one conversations with him, you feel like the only one in the room. He has an exceptional father's heart that is easily observed by how he treats his family and everyone around him. His heart for people trickles down into leadership in a way that can be felt from the stage to the parking lot--with happy, waving volunteers helping you find the best parking spot, then golf-carting you right up to the front door. It's a blessing to be part of a church that has a heart to take on massive projects like funding the building of a hospital in foreign countries, while also caring enough for its congregation to do things like offering a night every other month for young parents to drop off their kids for a few hours. My wife and I have a 21-month-old and no family nearby--this is something that has made us feel seen and cared for, and one more reason I love this church. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but had to give a shout out to our favorite pastor, Brannon Shortt! His sermons hit the mark every time. Brannon, you are making a difference in this world every Sunday. PLEASE keep being you and keep doing what you are doing. We love your fresh perspectives and your ability to connect us to the Bible in ways no one else can. Thank you for sharing your God given gifts and talents with us. read more

I have been coming since late August and have waited a bit to really make a solid judgment on things as my family and I have had bad experiences with churches in the past, on top of being a bit picky about teaching styles. I've been to several in the Rancho Cordova Area to the Granite Bay Area and either fell through the cracks (I wanted a church where my daughter and I would fit in) or didn't necessarily feel the sermon was based enough in the Word for me. When I came to Bayside the first time, I was welcomed warmly and truly felt like I was acknowledged. I believe within the next week or so they had a program called The Well for single/divorced mothers. As a solo parent, you feel unappreciated, unrecognized, and alone. I walked in and felt immediately connected with the other women there, and was embraced by women who I've formed great friendships with since. They had child dedications around 3 weeks to a month after I had started attending, and I decided to dedicate my daughter whether or not I stayed at the church campus as a promise to the Lord and myself to ensure my daughter knew her Heavenly Father. My family started attending shortly after that too, which is saying something. The Bible study for the women's ministry is great and led by incredible women. The kids ministry is just as amazing, and their CR program has been life changing for me. The teaching itself is good, slow to start at times and while I'm sure some have a preference for more traditional teaching, there is a balance that keeps you engaged. Humans are humans and no one is perfect or can please everyone, but I think there is something that all generations can relate to in their sermons. At the end of the day, the ultimate focus is always Jesus, love, and endeavoring to treat AND view people as Jesus did when he walked with us. There is nothing that can separate us from His love, and as someone who grew up feeling it was conditional, this place has been incredibly healing for me and I'm sure many others. read more

Bayside Church in Folsom has been one of the best, most loving churches I have ever been a part of. The pastors are not only reflecting Christ in their messages from the stage, they truly live their personal lives in honorable ways. I have been blessed by both our staff and church community in more ways than I can list in one review. If you want a Church that offers high quality in production and service while also feeling like a true family/tight-knit community, then Bayside Folsom is the place for you. read more

The lead Pastor, Brian, is not a good listener. He talks a good line but refuses to engage when it comes to listening. Korey, another one of the pastors at this location, while younger appears to be of the same mold. They represent every reason why the church in this country is in decline. Both lack compassion and a willingness to listen. Preaching also involves listening. Pastor Brandon, however, is a really good teacher and is the only reason I would consider attending this church on a regular basis. Unfortunately, he and Brian are co-lead pastors and the teaching schedule is not shared in advance read more

Quite literally the best place i've ever been. Amazing community and very kind staff!!

My wife and I love our church family at Bayside Folsom! We've been a part of this church for over 7 years now and watched God work in our life and and the lives of so many friends here. We have a 6 month old now, and couldn't ask for a better church to raise him in. read more

The friendliest church you'll ever attend. Lots of opportunities to serve here, great staff who truly care. Christ-centered, great teaching, friendly people. Also has programs for all. Big enough to offer a lot and small enough to be known. read more

My family has been a part of Bayside Folsom for over 3 years, and I love it! The Sunday services are welcoming to new people, and the worship band is awesome. The preaching is Biblical, and I appreciate our pastor who has a big heart for God and people. We Americans are rich compared to most of the world's population, so Bayside encourages its members to give to worthy causes. My husband and I joined a Small Group focused on the marriage relationship, and our marriage has been strengthened. Our daughter was blessed by the children's ministry. I love how Bayside encourages people to discover their spiritual gift(s) and to use them for the building up of the church. I am thankful that Bayside is a church of joy, prayer, compassion, and the Holy Spirit. read more

I attended about 6 months ago, and the Pastor at the Folsom church asked for donations for an orphanage he adopted some of his children thru. He dimmed the lights and sent around an offering basket and made an announcement about it. Why can't people donate to whomever they choose without the Pastor's input? It was a big turn off, he was being very pushy and I felt he was pushing his agenda onto the Church members. I know he's adopted children as he talks about it every Sunday. Does he have a repaying job or does he live off of the church? It makes one wonder if he's adopted so many children in return wants to be supported by the church. read more

This Bayside location has been our home church for over 2 years now. We love the community we have found here and the ministries that they are a part of.
