I looked out the window as it was starting to rain and wife said maybe they finish the ladies work across the road when weather is better. Then we both noticed their subcontractor damaged my mailbox. Then kicker is they tried to hide it instead of coming to me to say hey we damaged your mailbox. When I went out there the subcontractor could not communicate well in English. Then a guy on the jobsite wanted to do a patch job on my pole. At this point I knew they were going to cheapen out and not fix the damage. The person on the jobsite that could communicate in English got hostile with my wife and I on our property. Their subcontractor caused the damage and they wanted to hide it. I asked for the subcontractors insurance and they refused, so I called EBRPSO to have an accident report done as their subcontractor damaged my mailbox with their trailer and they were trying to get out of it. Ended up having a report and filed a claim with the guys insurance company. This company is not reputable and gets hostile with people when they damage their property. Buyer beware on this company!!!

I don't want to quote prices, but I am able to say his pricing was excellent, about half the price of the highest quote. Ryan and his crew showed up as promised, and on the Saturday right before Hurricane Ida. They managed to get a crane located in an incredibly tight spot and disassembled and removed both trees in a single day. Afterwards, the job site was cleaned up, and we were ready for the storm. He returned later to grind the stumps as agreed and refused to take any payment till the job was 100% done and both parties were satisfied. Ryan is a very personable guy, and worked with my neighbor and his tenants to cause as little disruption as possible. He and his workers operated safely and communicated with all parties involved. His workers even did another minor trimming job for another neighbor while in the area. Therefore, I would not hesitate to recommend Ryan's Tree Service to others. He does great work, and has great pricing.

Was looking for a quote on a tree removal that is leaning into my property from my neighbors yard…read more Just simply wanted to get an idea what it would take so I could approach my neighbor to discuss the removal. The person who showed up spent most of his time on his phone once he arrived and left me standing out in the heat so I came inside. Once he completed the call and we discussed the removal he spent his entire time explaining how difficult it would be and didn't really have a clue since he would have to get with his crane guy and how difficult it was going to be entering my neighbors yard and how many insurance wavers he would need to get signed before he could do the work. At the end it really sounded like he wasn't in the least bit interested in doing the work.

Had a problem tree from my neighbor's yard that was rotted out and over the last 20 years had…read morecaused repetitive power outages by throwing limbs as it continued to decay. The neighbors whose yard the tree was growing in FINALLY agreed to have it cut down completely and had chosen Ferguson's Tree Care to do the job. However due to the way the tree was growing, they needed access through my yard as most of the tree was growing over my fence and leaning into my property. Having had a lot of problems with Entergy's chosen tree companies damaging my driveway by bringing in huge cherry picker machines/trucks over the years due to power outages caused by this tree, I was very concerned as to what kind of equipment this company would be using before giving them access to my driveway and backyard to cut down this problem tree. Mr Carl Ferguson who is the owner of this company was very professional and explained what type of equipment they utilized which wouldn't cause damage to my new driveway and/or backyard lawn since they would have to come way into my backyard up to the fence line to cut down at least the top half of the tree leaning over onto my property line. Once they had it cut back enough they would then go into the neighbor's yard to cut it down to the ground. Mr Carl explained that they have large heavy duty pads they put over the grass to help with weight distribution of the equipment. As promised he brought in equipment that was large enough to do the job, but not so large as to damage my new driveway or lawn. His crew arrived promptly early in the morning, with lots of workers and equipment to do the job. Since he was already going to be on my side of the yard to chop down the top half of my neighbor's tree infringing on my property, I negotiated a price with Mr Carl to also cut down 2 small dead trees on MY property and also some minor tree trimming to take advantage of his crew while on site for the neighbor's tree issue. His price for my share of the work on my property side was reasonable. I was extremely pleased with the work that they performed and the workman did not twiddle their thumbs...they all worked hard, quickly and professionally. Did a wonderful job of cleaning up too. Blew off my cement areas that had debris and did a great job of raking and collecting all the little leaves and branches that were left on the green spaces. Of course all the big pieces of the tree were also hauled off as well. Definitely recommend Carl Ferguson's Tree service.
