They always have new things- advanced technology, partnerships for care, curtains, etc. She is always learning new things and expanding what care she can offer patients. Initially I went to her because I had a root canal that failed twice. She was the first one to say she thought the tooth was cracked, and she was right! I've had a complicated set of inherited problems and she has treated them. My sister (who lives across the country) also has similar issues and has struggled to find regular, specialized care. With Dr. Lacey we have done the same palette expansion. I've had regular visits, top of the line imaging, and gained 7mm of space. When I didn't need the follow up Invisiline (like my sister did have to have), she was honest with me, and that saved me thousands of dollars and years of treatment! Very grateful to have found her. The team is terrific- all the hygienists, dentists and office personnel have been professional and thorough. Now my extended family has started going to Southern Dental. Love these ladies!

Dr. Rappold did amazing work, I didn't feel any pain throughout the procedure and you can't even tell I had any work done at all. They were also able squeeze me in for that appointment the same week. I've never had any problems with this office, like previous reviews mention, nor have I ever been charged any fees without my knowledge.

Posting here because the review I put on google was deleted…read more I arrived in Sept 29, 2026 and was having no issues until they did the x-ray. The bite device was way too big for my mouth. I told the technician I wasn't able to do it and requested a smaller bite device. I was advised they had nothing smaller and said something about discomfort. I replied that it had nothing to do with discomfort and everything to do with my gag reflex and not wanting to vomit all over her. I had already noted these issues in the paperwork. I had already told the technician about the anxiety over the gag reflex. I can deal with some discomfort. I can not deal with gagging. Brushing my teeth can make me throw up. The technician went to get the doctor, who was absolutely lovely. I asked the doctor about the pediatric bite device and was told they use this one for pediatrics as well. I replied, "Ah, I think I'm going to have to go somewhere else then." I wasn't being snarky or aggressive in any way. It was more of a, "I'm realizing this isn't the place for me," kind of way. The technician asked, "Didn't you come here a few years ago and get xrays? Yes. Yes I did. Just because I was able to force myself to do something 4 years ago doesn't mean I can do that now. I advised them both that I wouldn't be able to do it. The doctor left and I assumed she was telling the front desk what I needed to check out. Suddenly another woman who didn't bother to introduce herself, walked in and started putting my chair down without saying a word to me. Mind you, this is after I had already advised both the doctor and technician that I wouldn't be able to do it. I thought I was waiting for them to clear me to go check out. So I asked her what she's doing and she said trying to make me "more comfortable " so she could try something else. I told her, "I didn't ask you to do that." And she argued with me. I told her, "You didn't introduce yourself and you moved the chair without warning me." Then I said, "What do you mean try something else? I was already advised you had nothing else to offer me." She said, "This isn't the place for you." I already knew that! Like, what? So I got up to leave, went to the front desk and asked if I needed to do anything to check out. This woman waved me away like she was swatting at a flying insect and said, "You can go." I spoke up again and told her she was being rude. I explainedagain why what she did wasn't OK. She said, "Well, I'm sorry," in a very sarcastic manner and I called her rude again. She then very sarcastically told me to have a great day. I told her to have the day she deserves. And she replied that her day is going to be great with me gone. ********* I disclosed my issues up front and ended up being treated extremely poorly by who I can only assume to be the office manager. They have no instruments to accommodate smaller paletes. Thankfully, I was able to get an emergency appointment with Dr. Morgan from All Smiles today and was taken care of brilliantly by her entire team. The difference in treatment was beyond shocking.

When I called back later to inquire about the mishap, the office manager completely refused to apologize, denied accountability, and aggressively blamed me for not tracking my own 6-month timeline. Unprofessional management, predatory scheduling practices, and a total lack of respect for their patients' time and money.
