We didn't have any briefing regarding the story or objective other than to escape. There was a thorough briefing on the building, safety protocol and the dos and fonts of the room but nothing about the theming or story. Two of the puzzles were faulty and we were given no assistance. When we asked for a clue or help when we had issues we were told "keep trying". One puzzle needed to be repaired and another had faulty magnet contacts that we had to constantly move around after we already solved the puzzle multiple times. We spent about ten minutes on each issue at least which caused us to flunk out. Mishaps happen when puzzles have been beat up by previous guests but we weren't even given clues when we asked.

We had so much fun that we ended up staying 5 hours and closed the park down! We got to hold a baby alligator and watched feeding time for the adult alligators. We bought a couple of feed cups and fed the other animals in the zoo. The zipline experience was so much fun that we decided to upgrade and do the full 7-line course. For anyone who can't decide which one to do, I highly recommend doing all 7. The last one is the best! Shout out to Kent, Trey, Julian, and Sierra (my apologies if I got any names wrong). They were all so awesome and made the day so much fun! It's clear they really enjoy what they do and care about their guests' experience. They also do 'Art Days' on Wednesdays and Thursdays for artists and photographers. You can't beat the $5 admission plus a free feed cup for hours of entertainment and a chance to sketch or photograph the cute animals. Unfortunately, we live far away, but if we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stop by again!

I have been in attendance of two separate kid's birthday parties here, and as observed from mostly the sidelines, through my own kids' actions, they had a freakin' blast here, for both parties. Pretty much, just a large romper room here, a padded space for all kids just to go buck wild for two hours (come on, nap time!!) And they do go buck wild! Footballs flying around. Basketballs. Kids putting on boxing gloves. (Get the hand sanitizer!) And it's just all an intense, dizzying, flurry of activity, and all the kids seem to just love it. It's indoors, which is good, because your party isn't susceptible to any inclement weather, rain, or ice, or hot-as-blazes weather in the summer! Really, what you want out of a party place for the kids, is just some place that gives them sometime for their buddies, some out of class time with their classmates to just go bonkers, and expend a little, or hopefully, a lot of energy. Here, they do that. And they do it well.

The Shreveport aquarium is a gem of the Ark-La-Tex. I have been to aquariums in New Orleans, World…read moreof Wonders in Springfield Missouri, the aquarium in Dallas, Tennessee, and Georgia. This may sound a bit strange but of all those aquariums I enjoy the Shreveport aquarium the most. It's just a enjoyable place to chill out and recharge. When we visit massive, hundred million dollar aquariums, we are often herded through the exhibits with hundreds of people. It is hard to truly enjoy an aquarium in that type of environment. Plus, how many fish do you really want to see? At the Shreveport aquarium my wife and I will often sit in the first opening gallery for 10 or 15 minutes. Soft instrumental music is playing and the fish are gingerly pecking at a coral reef or playing with one another. If a loud child and family comes in all you have to do is wait about 90 seconds and they will pass through. Enjoy their excitement and sense of wonder. We can also spend 10 minutes at the Shark Tank and another 10 or 15 minutes with the stingrays. Most of the other exhibits we view a little more quickly. Sometimes a staff member is eager to tell you about a new addition or some type of exciting aquatic behavior. This is a small aquarium, but what it has, it does very well. If you go, take the time to pause and chill out an among the hundreds of finny creatures. This is a different type of aquarium experience. Check the website for feeding times. My wife and I each have an annual pass which cost $50 a year each. It is well worth it.

I think, we took our time and still did everything in like 30 mins. It's such a shame since the surrounded area was BEAUTIFUL! I thought the gemstone area was cool. Not sure if I would consider it part of the aquarium. This is very comparable to and equally as disappointing as the sea life aquarium in downtown San Antonio. Save your money and time. If you're anywhere near Corpus Christi go to the Texas State Aquarium. That is what a true aquarium should be, and it's by far the most fun and worth every dime! This is a place for toddlers in our opinion. The highlight was hand feeding rays. That's it, didn't ruin our trip thanks to the rest of the cool places around! Don't waste your time or money here.

Discount jewelery and loan is $30 so there are cheaper places to ship to but not much. They have an indoor range where you can rent firearms or bring your own to practice. I've always preferred outdoor over indoor though so I didn't actually get to see the range. They also have ammo, accessories, etc for sale. I don't know if they allow full auto or not or to what caliber they allow. I meant to ask but got side tracked looking around. This won't affect most people anyway as they don't have a license for full auto but I do. I usually run the gauntlet on the outdoor range down 49 with the Sheriff's office. The two employees that were there when I went, I assume one of them was the owner, were both friendly and answered any question I had. There are covered picnic benches outside where I'm assuming you could clean your weapons after you're done plinking before you leave. If they're not for that purpose I'm not really sure what they're there for. They have gunsmiths on staff they said, with not too bad of wait times. Just bring your firearm that needs repairing, tell the smith what's wrong with it, and leave it with them. I was told the wait should be less than 2 weeks when I went. So if you're looking for an indoor range the staff are friendly here and it seems like a good place to try out. I forget how much they charge so you'd have to call and ask them for that.
