Ten days later, the stock still hadn't turned up so I chased it up. Email sent back saying it had not been sent, and they will do it now. I sent an email back immediately (within 4 minutes) saying that as it is Christmas time and I need it for the Hobart, then I would rather a refund and I will make other arrangements. The pants turned up the next day, after I had cancelled the order in writing and after I had made the other arrangements. Now they will not take the trousers back without a ridiculous restocking fee even though I said I would ship it at my cost. Now his response is to just ghost my emails and I still have a pair of trousers from a cancelled order.

Yesterday I received an email stating that it would cost too much to pick up the 2nd set and to keep them. The email also stated they regretted the lack of communication they provided. And would I consider removing my bad review? I stand by my review but am glad that they now understand the importance of communication and paying attention to their customers needs. With regards to the actual oars - I would not buy again from any business. After 5 uses the wood is already beginning to crack despite being varnished/sealed. They won't last long in the humidity of Darwin.
