I ordered a schnitzel plate that was cooked to tender perfection and laid alongside a heaping pile of German potato salad. Before the meal I got a salad and for dessert one of the best apple strudels I've ever had. With ice cream, a cream sauce and apple slices adorning it I found room in my already happily full belly to stuff this treat down. Staff was helpful, the restaurant was clean and decorated nicely. There's a bar area but the place was not loud or raucous. Our server was kind enough to help us in English and for that especially I'm most appreciative! The first impression upon entering the Osteria Ferrau! is probably the most inaccurate, which you may have. The porch with a table and bar tables in the bar area and the outlet of the kitchen is rather less beautiful. Let's just say, Angus Steakhouse is pretty amazing! I flew to Germany for a winter vacation and we…read moredecided to visit the steakhouse on 2 separate occasions. On the first night, I had the Angus Ribeye with rosemary potatoes. For the side I opted to have bacon wrapped green beans. For cocktails I had a glass of Cabernet and it was quite nice. The service was phenomenal. The ambiance was nice and chill. I would say, if you're in town, the Angus steakhouse is the place to be.
