He had absolutely no problem sending me to the pharmacy after five hours of dental work drueling and bleeding so I don't understand why he would not make sure it was safe to proceed with the bridge work and send me for x rays beforehand. If you add the price of a wisdom tooth removal and bridge at a cost of $1,700 in USA...well...just do the math ...3,500 for Dr. Mayora's work plus 1:700 for wisdom tooth removal = $5,200. I called his office to see how this could be resolved in order to continue my work and received no reply from a dental office that had been so responsive in the past.. She specializes in GENERAL dentistry only. I will say that for 300.00 pesos for the consultation (approximately 15 USA Dollars) she can take X-ray of your immediate issue and refer you to a specialist where needed. The X-Ray is included in the 300.00 M.N. fee. I found her to be pretty helpful and efficient enough to refer me to specialists for the work I need done. She was very thorough and explained my options adequately. She referred me to a few other locations for dental (full mouth) Xray's and a couple other endodontists. I will continue my general work with her as I found her to be pretty honest. I rate her 5 stars and WILL recommend her to others for sure. Great place to begin your Dentist Quest.

Avoid this woman at all costs. I was referred to her by my doctor in Ensenada. Warning bells went…read moreoff as soon as I walked into her office. I had 3 fillings replaced. She was yapping with someone else while working on me. She squirted so much novocaine in my mouth that it dripped down my throat and I couldn't speak in English or Spanish. I had requested gold, she gave me a composite that looked like glue. Less than a month later one of the fillings fell out and had to be replaced here in the states. Less than a year later one of the teeth (a rear molar) had to be extracted after the gum became inflamed and the tooth split in half. Obviously after that happened I made sure to replace the rest of her work before I lost any more teeth. When my dentist here in the U.S. replaced the final filling that she had done he found unremoved amalgam underneath her crappy "composite" resulting in a filling that was not attached to the tooth in those areas where the amalgam remained. I was lucky that I didn't lose that tooth as well. I would of been better off going to a Mexican mechanic. She is a disgrace to the dental profession. If anyone knows of a reputable dentist in Ensenada please let us know. This woman should not be listed as one of the best dentists in Ensenada. In fact she should not be rated as a dentist period. I have not taken my car to her so I can not rate her as a mechanic.
