There are several toilet and shower buildings throughout the campground. They are well maintained and clean. Although someone who did their dishes in an outdoor sink for dishes did not have enough sense to clean up after themselves. They left ramen noodles in the sink. Why do people need to be slobs? They should clean up their mess. No one else should need to do it. I am sure that park staff will clean it up by morning. There are so many campsites in this park and I heard it fills up totally in the summer. That would not be my kind of camping but I am sure it's fun for those who come. Just remember when camping --clean up after yourself, be respectful of others and keep the noise down.

The interiors of these cabins are very clean and well-kept, with recent renovations. We were very comfortable during our stay here and are looking forward to returning. The kitchen was clean and completely equipped, and the main living area had plenty of space for the two of us to stretch out and relax. Bedrooms were a little small, and the mattresses softer than I'd like, but were OK for a week. The bathroom looked recently remodeled. Shower stall was awesome--large, with the nozzle high enough to spray my 6'6" frame without me bending down. That's almost never been the case at a rental cabin. Wifi was generally reliable, but went out several times, usually briefly. The view of course is wonderful. Having Lake Superior right outside your window is reason enough to stay here. With so much to do around Paradise, our main regret was not staying another week,

Very clean, comfortable beds, ample parking even if you have a trailer, some units are pet friendly too. Having a kitchen, with clean dishes, is awesome as well as having laundry on site! We planned a fall camping trip and were driven in by the cold and very windy weather. With a days notice, we found Paradise Inn on-line and reserved a king room on a Thursday night for just under $150. The location is fantastic, 15-minutes from Whitefish Point and Tehquamenon Falls. Our check-in and out were smooth and staff were friendly. The hotel is 2-stories and dates, but very clean. The lobby, hall ways, coffee area and light breakfast room all were comfortable and contemporary. It felt inviting. Our king room was very large with a nice living area, wonderfully large jacuzzi bath and separate living area. There was a mini fridge as well. We spend most of our time away but would have loved to relax more in this room. The only complaint is that the light breakfast was only offered from 7-9 am. We arrived downstairs about 9:45, unaware of the early hours. For vacationers, a little more flexibility would be nice. We also expected to be able to walk to the water as the hotel is on the main road that runs along the water. Unfortunately, there is not public access within 10-miles of the hotel. We went to Whitefish Point, 11-miles north, to walk and watch the sunset and dark skies. We're fortunate enough to witness our first display of northern lights. Amazing! We plan to return. This location is a gem for this area.

Great park to sit and watch the ships go by, enjoy the birds (ducks pretty much all the time -…read moreothers are more seasonal), not far enough to escape the sounds of the city unless you have noise cancellng headphones. Lots of benches to just sit and chill. Places to fish along the bank, as well as a little fishing pier. During the winter months the snow is not cleaned up on the road or benches; you are on your own. People still crive into the park so it is accessible by vehicle or you can walk in (it's not that big). Bring something to sit on if the benches might be wet or snow covered. Parking in the park is available, or you can park in the lot just outside the park and walking. Dogs are welcome, but should be leashed if there are oter folks in the park. During the really cold months, and bad weather your pup can run free as the park tends to be relatively empty. Poop bags for your do are available at the entrance / exit. Please cleanup after your dog. Don't miss Rotary Park if you're in the Soo.
