We first saw Gateway Bar and Liquors on social media and decided to come in and try it due to the many gluten free options. Everyone there is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable and accommodating on gluten free options. The first time I went, I tried the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and although I am not gluten free, the gluten free bread was very tasty! The second time I went to Gateway, we started with the pretzel and gluten free French onion soup. Both were absolutely delicious! I ordered the special, which was a Corned Beef Reuben for my entree and wow was it delicious! There was so much meat on it, however, everything was perfectly balanced! I also was told that I ordered the last Reuben and that they were sold out, which shows how good they are! The burger was very tasty as well! The owner of this place clearly has no desire to cater to their life long customers. I was treated rudely the last time at check out when I asked about a case discount (which was a big draw for me over the years) and to top it all off they weren't even open at 630 pm on a Friday night. I know its the corona virus and all but this is ridiculous. If the goal is to try and lose money and customers they are on the right track. I wish there was an option for no stars.

Limited selection and overpriced. I'm not a bar snob, I just think the smell got me. We ran in here to pick up beer and wine on our way to a BYOB. There are better options across the highway. I think this is more like a neighborhood hang out. At least move the darn bucket away from the door! The two star was only because the guy working there was nice.
