They recently opened up the kitchen and now serve all kinds of awesome food at reasonable prices. The specials they come up with are also very unique and always keep you on your toes. You can come in and sit by the bar, have a drink or two and a bite to eat and then grab a six pack out of the cooler to go and keep the party going! They also have all kinds of fun event nights from live music on Fridays, trivia Wednesdays and their iconic karaoke Saturdays! The karaoke is from 7pm to midnight and it is always packed with folks from all different generations. Gateway is a great spot no matter the time of year or time of day, always friendly staff and plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sporting event. The owner of this place clearly has no desire to cater to their life long customers. I was treated rudely the last time at check out when I asked about a case discount (which was a big draw for me over the years) and to top it all off they weren't even open at 630 pm on a Friday night. I know its the corona virus and all but this is ridiculous. If the goal is to try and lose money and customers they are on the right track. I wish there was an option for no stars.
